Good value so far.
I wanted an economical turntable so my wife and I could listen to a collection of old albums we have. So far this turntable has been excellent. We cannot believe how good it works and sounds.

Set-up and Sound
I loved setting this up. It’s my first. I enjoyed feeling like I was part of why it sounds so good :). It looks better than I expected too. I needed one with a dust cover since I have cats and this cover has a brown tint that matches the rest of it nicely. For now I use a converter to play thru a Samsung soundbar.

Great Entry-Level Turntable – Simple, Reliable, and Clean Sound
The Denon DP-29F Fully Automatic Record Player is a solid choice for anyone just getting into vinyl or looking for a hassle-free setup. The fully automatic operation is incredibly convenient—just press a button and the tonearm does the rest, which is great for casual or first-time users.Sound quality is clean and warm for its class, and while it won’t rival higher-end audiophile models, it delivers reliable performance that brings records to life nicely through a decent stereo system. The built-in phono preamp is also a nice bonus, making it compatible with most speakers right out of the box.Build quality is decent, though mostly plastic, and that’s the main reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5. It feels lightweight, which affects vibration isolation somewhat—but for the price point, it’s completely acceptable.Overall, the DP-29F is a great value for beginners or casual listeners looking for an easy-to-use, respectable-sounding record player from a trusted brand.

Big disappointment
I ordered 220v version, as advertised, got 110v. No one to talk with, I had to buy transformer.Apart, very basic turntable, wouldn’t last long. Denon used to be a good HiFi company, sic transit Gloria mundi

Kind of worked then didn’t
It was fine for a while, but it often skips and then scratched a few records. Very disappointed in build quality too. Spend a little more and get more for your money.
