Very enjoyable books.I first watched the television series, and after enjoying it so much I decided to get the books.For those people wondering "How similar are the books to the TV series? Will they still be enjoyable?" - I can assure that the books are very different. I'm on the third book, and the ONLY similarity in the story line so far is the Ice Truck Killer; and even that is done totally differently. Obviously same characters etc, overall I definitely recommend.

Purchased books for partners Christmas present and was not disappointed, if you enjoyed the series would recommend to give another angle on Dexter and his Dark passenger.A few of the books differ in size but no real issue unless you are planning to have them lined up neatly with a growing collection.
