I have always always wanted to take the time to do pencil art. With all the videos on you tube my dream of drawing is coming true. The instructional videos reference different pencils to use. This pencil art set fills those requirements. I was a little overwhelmed wirh all that was included in the set at first. Everything you need to know about using pencil, erasers, and blending can be found on you tube. This set is a great step to have on getting started. The black case and sketching pad of 100 acid free 100gsm is a plus. The black case is great for keeping the set together. If your getting started or know someone who is getting started, this is the perfect set.

The colors are great with a nice container but every time I sharpen them they break I've only had them for 2 days and I've had to throw 2 away

Nice drawings set

This is exactly what I was seeking for my son. My son loves to draw, and has been doing so with only a #2 pencil, or colored pencils, until now. This is the perfect size case for carry, backpack, or travel, and came with a 6x8.5 sketch pad with 100 pages! No other set I researched came with a sketch book with that many pages. All pieces are just as advertised, and this set will last for years to come. No more black fingers from blending. This set has 3 different size blending stumps, and they are strong. I was worried that they may flex and break after a few uses, but they are good quality. Very good set, especially for a beginner or a student. I would not hesitate to recommend, or to gift to those who love to draw.

This set is good for beginners. I purchased it because I was looking for an economical kit for my drawing students. With this kit they would have all they need for drawing. It is mostly pencils and I wish there was a bit more charcoal, but nice set overall. I think it would be a great gift. You could just begin to draw with the materials and sketchbook here. I also like the case since my stuff always gets all mixed up. More experienced artist could probably use higher grade materials since this is very student oriented.

Haven't seen the pencils outside of the package since I bought them for a Christmas gift, but the packaging is nice. I'm sure they are nice as pencils go. I will revisit this review if there is a problem.

I am a beginning art student and purchased this set because I wasn't really sure what tools I needed. This set is nice because as a complete range of graphic pencils ranging from 12B to 5H. It also how's graphite blocks that are soft, medium, hard which is really good for shading. Zipper case there comes in is really nice because it's dirty and protects the tools when being travelled in easily throat in a backpack and not worry about any of your pencils or things breaking. This makes a good economic investment for students like me.

I purchased this item as a gift and realized I wanted one for myself (no, I didn't keep this one). The bag is neatly presented and has quite a bit of extra space for anyone to add any additional supplies you might need. Even the sketch pad fits nicely. The set has a great range of different pencils and additional supplies that I never thought you would need but definitely see the value. If you want a great and diverse set, whether you are a starter or pro; I feel like this is the set to get.
