This is the official Raspberry Pi power adapter. I had been using third-party ones (even ones from trusted resellers) and they always had issues popping up, usually indicated by under voltage warnings appearing in the system logs or at boot time. This adapter, while on paper perhaps being lower wattage than some of the no-name adapters, works perfectly. No under voltage issues, no random reboots. Plug it in and it simply works. What more do you need?This has a USB-C tip, I was able to use it with an older Pi by using a cheap USB-C to Micro USB tip adapter.

Of course it works fine, I expected that. There were other power supplies out there but I prefer to use things from the same manufacturer. Things work more reliably when the components are related.

It says what it does and does what it says. Keeps the new Pi running without any heat or power issues.

Runs Raspberry Pi with ease. The only thing that I would like to change, I would like to have an on-off switch. After shutting down the Pi through a software command, the cooling fan continues to run. An on-off switch would resolve this.

Came on time with no issues noted. It did not fit my Pi 3B but did work with another one I had. Make sure you are verifying the USB power connection on your Pi before ordering. Recommend this for all Pi users.

If you have or are planning to a raspberry pi, get this power supply. Don’t pull out the old phone brick you probably have in your drawer as it could provide an undervoltage warning and other issues may arise. That said, I am using this on a raspberry pi 3a+. It only takes Micro-USB, so this means using some kind of Type-C to Micro-USB adapter. I combined some adapters I already have in order to get it to work. I’ve never had an issue since with my raspberry pi’s power and I can now 3d print with ease.

Raspberry Pi is sensitive to power supplys - Official Pi version is the best one to buy and not have any issues and less chance of SD Card corruption
