Waterproof Full Set Pointer Pinpointer Detector

This is an excellent choice for a pinpointed that does not break the bank, but still actually does the job. This detector works every bit as well as the ones costing double this.I tried the ones costing about half the price as the Nokta and did not fin them sufficient to locate a buried object. This one finds a quarter thru about 4" of dirt. It will detect a penny or dime under about 2-1/2-3" of dirt and larger items at 6" of dirt. This is Florida sandy soil, if it matters.It definitely "Zeros" in on where the object is.My not have the brand name recognition, but gets the job done quite well for the price.The slide on protector is nice feature. The controls on the back of the unit is actually better than some fancier units and BIG name units. The tone are definite loud enough to hear.Buy this one. Unless you can afford one of the $200 ones, than by all means get a prettier one. Less than $220 to spend, this is it.

I actually bought this as a birthday present for a friend of mine who is new to metal detecting. I was going to get him "the Carrot" since it is super easy to use and great for a beginner, but after reading the reviews on the Nokta pinpointer, I liked the features and the price so I opted for that. I must say I'm quite impressed with the Nokta.We went detecting a few days ago and Nokta easily matched my Carrot for depth and sensitivity. It might even get a little more depth than my Carrot and has more sensitivity settings to really fine tune it. The clencher was, my friend is a little hard of hearing and he had trouble hearing my Carrot, but the Nokta has the speaker on top of the battery cover so it was super easy for him to hear it. All in all, it's a great pinpointer that matches the other popular pinpointers in performance and at a better price point. What's not to like? So now I'm thinking of good excuses for replacing my Carrot with the Nokta. I mean, my wife would want me to be happy, right? ;)

Very sturdy, waterproof, sensitive, great quality, and value. I would easily give this pinpointer 5 stars, but I feel like mine isn’t performing like ones I’ve seen on YouTube. Sometimes it will fail to respond to dimes, and that’s with a new battery. Not sure if it can be calibrated, but that’s kind of important lol.

Nokta Makro has been making inroads into the hobby and professional Detectorist markets. They offer quality and high performance products such as this pointer for way less than their competitors. I bought this purchase to complement my recent acquisition of the Nokta Makro Legend metal detector. As an example, that detector offers technology at least equal to the best mid-range detectors, but also is the Lowest Priced multi-freqency detector on the Market at the time I purchased it in May 2023.I have tested this pinpointer and it works very well and is significantly less that the big competitors. Not to knock the offerings from China that are very very much less money, I have not tested them.This Nokta Pinpointer is quality and value, in my opinion, and I do not write many reviews.I really wanted to buy the Nokta Accupointer that pairs with the Legend detector, but I really could not wait for them to fininsh testing and development. I guess I will just have to buy a second one when that comes out. Cheers.Buy this pinpointer, or aliens will take over the government....

Well made. Good quality and felt good in my hand. Easy to use. 2 buttons for all the controls. Watch a few YouTube videos to learn how to set it up and use it. It comes with instructions but it's very small print.It has advanced features and is easy to use with 2 buttons on the end to access all the controls.10 sensitivity levels seem to work as described.I was picking up rusty nails 3" down in damp soil.No lanyard attachment was a slight inconvenience but no deal breaker.It has vibrate or beep or both. The flashlight can be turned on or off as needed.It comes with 2 sturdy probe covers, a smooth cover and a "digging" cover that click into place.Beginners can quickly learn to use this.$50 cheaper than the Garrett, I think it has better features.One requirement for me is it had to be waterproof, this looks like it will stand up to wet sandy beaches just fine.I watched many videos before choosing but one video stood out. The guy took it out for four months. He abused it. Mud, water, beating it against a tree and it wouldn't die. It takes 9V batteries and I figure I'll be getting some lithium ones.

This is a super great pinpointer. Easy to operate. The sound is loud enough to hear well. Really detects great. I've had cheaper ones but you get what you pay for. I would recommend this one to anyone.

Wow I'm amazed how this pin pointer is sensitive it has ten sensitivity setting which is amazing, easy to use i can't wait till i use it. The price for this pin pointer is worth the money, i highly you consider buying this nokta pin pointer you won't be disappointed. " happy hunting" 😁
