With my previous expirence carving lino tiles these blades seem very sharp and easily cut the rubber stamp piece in the kit... cant wait to see how it works with the pumpkin.I found loosening the nut and putting the blade into the side slot is the best way to put the cutting blade in.

Pretty darn sharp for the money. I think it's a great deal. Not sure how long it will last, but I would buy again.

I was able to complete my project somewhat successfully. The tool was extremely dull so I had to switch to a mat knife to get the sharpness to do the straight lines needed for the design. Not something I would want a beginner to attempt as the block moves around while cutting.

I bought this item because the reviews seemed favorable for a beginner to be able to use this set at a low price. While I thought the blades were good, the handles just don’t work. The blade continually fell out as I was carving. I used Speedball brand as a kid, and I’ll be going back to that as I pick up this craft again

The media could not be loaded. The mat was easy to carve, the points were useful for different strokes/textures

Kits like these at the art store go $25+… great starter kit

I wanted to try a less expensive tool since I'm a beginner but unfortunately several of the blades don't even fit inside the tool. I was able to cram the blade in and use the tool but then the screw-on holder wouldn't fit. I used it a few times but it's not very sharp either so I'm probably going to return this and spend a bit more money for something better quality.

I bought this kit to carve some stamps for polymer clay textures. It works great. They are made great. I'm sure there are better wooden options, but you get what you pay for. These will last just as well as more expensive options. I recommend purchasing for your diy projects.
