Warm and Smooth...They just work!

I have cycled through many different acoustic strings over the years from all the major brands to even smaller "boutique" brands and I always return to Elixir Phosphor Bronze. They are what my guitar tech and luthier have always recommended and what they have always put on my guitars when they have done any type of work to them because they know ultimately it is the brand that will bring out the real sound of any acoustic. To me, these strings have a kind of "slinky" feel that makes them easy to install. They wind easily and tune up quickly with very little need of settling before staying in tune. The light coating on the strings helps immensely in calming down that sound of fingers sliding on new strings. That "squeal" that all guitarists know. They don't slip and because of that they hold their tune for a very long time. I switch back and forth between fingerpicking and using a pick and I very rarely need to tune. Usually a quick tune check at the beginning of a set and I am good to go!As I get older I have had to go down a gauge in my electric strings but these are so comfortable and play so effortlessly that I have been able to continue to play a 12-53 set with very little to no hand fatigue at all. I would highly recommend these strings to anyone from a beginner to a seasoned professional without hesitation. Even though they are on the pricier side they are worth every penny. The coating truly does extend the life of these strings far beyond that of regular or uncoated strings. I would describe the tone as warm and smooth. It makes any acoustic simply sing and sound like an old friend. What can I say, they just work!

Added to my new mahogany Takamine dreadnot. 100% worth it.

Look factory strings really are garbage I beg you to not even bother tuning them up when you get your acoustic with the factory strings on it … get yourself a nice set of strings that gets the most from your guitar … that’s what elixir does. It really woke up my new Takamine mahogany dreadnot that had absolute Jawa quality strings on it when it came from the factory “OOOOTeeeeeeenie! “. There’s just no point in having a guitar with such poor strings… it will never feel good or sound right… let alone will you get the most out of the guitars potential without it the proper types of strings on it . The tension is great, no rust issues, these elixirs perform and hold their tune very well. All of this for about $16 you really cannot beat it for the money. If you want to have an acoustic around with junky strings and never really enjoy playing when you get a chance…that’s your own issue. I on the other hand am different and want to enjoy the time when I do get a chance to pick up my acoustic and play. Elixir strings from my experience in the past have lasted the longest compared to other brands and are incredible value for the money.

Quality guitar strings

Well let's see these are great strings I recommend them because I play guitar and I used to buy Ernie Ball strings but I don't really like the last E string it's like a 12 or 13 I think it's a little too heavy awake I prefer a light or like 11 or 10 on the E string I play guitar so I know what I'm talking about there they last longer if you take care of them always you know after you play and your hands are sweaty and and your feet in the strings are kind of sweet you sure that your wipe down good, make it dry again and maybe put a cover over it get protect the strings cuz from the air in the atmosphere other than that they're good strings they should last depending on how you play what you play how long you play and what you subject the strings to so other than that I'd recommend them they're good quality string they sound good they're wound good they have good sound tone quality would recommend

Highly recommend these coated strings!

I’m a loyal user since 2005! These solved my sweaty hands killing guitar strings. The proprietary coating keeps the strings live and sounding great, even after a couple if months since new! I use these strings O.52-.0.11 on my vintage Martin D-41. They are lighter than the medium version and easier to play. I do a gentle but firm stretch of each string a couple of times to set them in the bridge and on the tuners, then tune. They stay in tune, take a lot of wear, but stay in tune, sounding great.

As a novice 5 stars....

Not sure what to say.Strings, size, feel, sound are all topics that people debate online. For me, as a novice...I had them installed by a luthier on a 12 string I bought at a thrift shop, along with a set up.They played easily and sounded great to my ear.Not sure what else to say.
