Works as intended

The media could not be loaded. This button is fairly large, which is what I wanted. I found that pins 3 and 4 complete the circuit when the button is pressed. Pins 1 and 2 break the circuit when the button is pressed, so you can have it function either way depending on your use.I connected this to an Arduino Leonardo and made it into a 1 button joystick for use in VR. In that application it worked as well as I could expect. It is a very satisfying button to press. I had hoped there would be enough room to put the board in the bottom of the button's case but there isn't, so I had to 3d print a small enclosure for it. This is not the fault of the button itself, which is of high quality. I also drilled out the holes in the side and bottom for routing wires.The button would be suitable for controlling industrial machines and I suspect that's what it's made for. The wires connect into contacts that screw down on them. These hold the wires firmly. It seems like they would accept 1.5 mm wires, probably even larger. The casing feels reasonably well made and durable. Both the casing and the button would probably stand up reasonably well to the button being pressed a bit "enthusiastically", even repeatedly.

This is a high quality switch assembly in a high quality enclosure that uses threaded bushes for the cover bolts, ie it's not the cheap 'woodscrew into plastic' cover screws. It's also IP65 rated and the cover seal is well-seated in the enclosure channels.It has one normally-open and one normally-closed contact block, which are correctly-labelled and work well. For the emergency stop circuit I used the normally-closed block. The black part has three M20 pushouts around the edges (top, bottom and left, looking from the front) and one in the base. If you needed an M20 hole in the right side, the plastic is nice and flat to allow drill/chassis cutter access and would provide a flat seat for the gland or conduit nut.The cover only goes on one way due to a key around the bottom-right screw, so make sure you fit the base the right way up!Very pleased with it - it is also quite small which is ideal for me in its application as an emergency stop kick button on my sawbench.It arrived with extra protection around the button, which shows the care the manufacturer takes with their products.

The product arrived on time, which was good. I have had to return it though, as the screws were missing and there were no wiring instructions. I am not sure if I will re-order.

Very smooth and easy to push. This is a momentary push button which auto-resets immediately after release rather than the typical locking emergency stop buttons. Suitable for controllers which manage power-delivery rather than breaking power like the latching alternatives.It has an IP65 rating, there is a rubber seal between the two-halves of the shell (yellow and black). I cannot confirm if the unit is in fact IP65 compliant as I am using it internally, however the rubber seal does shape around the insides of the screw points so it does appear to be fully sealed.Thick plastic shell, the button is firmly in-place, no lateral movements. The 'Emergency Stop' label is printed onto the shell so not removable but the rectangular indent around the words is sufficient to embed a custom printed label instead.All in all, a good switch at a good price.
