Unbeatable for the price
Nice sturdy table, hard to imagine getting anything better for the price. (Why is the version with backsplash and no casters so much cheaper than all the other ones?)I was disappointed in how much styrofoam packaging was in the box. I've had bicycles shopped to me with less packaging! Most if not all of the styrofoam pieces could have been corrugated cardboard, which I can at least toss in the recycling. As it stands, I now have a huge trash bag full of styrofoam pieces.Putting it together was smooth enough. The biggest pain was removing the protective film, which wanted to come off in 2-inch strips or smaller, especially the narrow pieces that wrapped around edges. In return for that annoyance, you get pretty much unmarred surfaces. I'll be putting stuff on here that's sure to scratch it up, so it was kinda lost on me.I've got an electric sterilizer and a pressure cooker and cooktop on the top shelf, and I'm using the bottom shelf for storage of relatively lightweight things. It's plenty sturdy and stable for this, but I can't say how it'd go with the full rated load.I haven't had it for long, but I'll update the review if anything comes up in the next few months.

Better Than Expected
So a couple prefaces and reasoning for my review and rating ; so I got the 24x48 size table with backsplash. I paid 76.28 for this in April 2025. For whatever reason that was a lot cheaper than the version with the same size with out the backslash. The price was awesome, I couldn't find a used one here in Southern California for that price.I read the reviews and there were comments about difficulty assembling, removing the film as well as scratches and rusting.I just got it today, the assembly wasn't super difficult, I did it myself, I am 50 and fit but not Godzilla and 5'9 155. Was it heavy, yes so if you are not used to moving or aligning heavy pieces you will need help. I would say though heavy, it was easier to assemble that 90% of the Ikea items I have had in life (and I have had a lot). So I wouldn't mark it down for assembly.Regarding the film used to protect it; did take some time to remove it, yes but it wasn't horrible. I just chilled and tried to make it as meditative as possible. Assembly and film removal took like 90 minutes interspersed with a glass of wine.It did come with some scratches, based on the other reviews I was expecting that. Were they horrible, no., it's going to get scratched if you are using anyway. Also considering the price I dont think you can expect something flawless. If I paid $200 for it would I have expected it more flawless. I didnt pay much for it so as a result it's reasonable not to expect perfection.Having said that, it's attractive, seems sturdy, arrived 3 days earlier than promised. It was packaged well. It's day one, I yet cant speak to the comments regarding rusting. I live in the desert in Southern California and it will be used inside, I also plan to keep it clean just using mild dish soap so hopefully that will avoid those issues. The only reason I deducted one star was for the unknown issue yet of rusting/ discoloration mentioned by others. In a few months I will try update the review regarding those issues. Thank you, be well and try not to overthink this purchase.

Disappointed
Table arrived damaged. Box appeared find, no rips or cush marks on box. Item was packed well with lost of padding and stiroform, but metal top corner was ripped and bent. Lower shelf side was bent. Most sides of top were scratched through the "protected tape" looks like a repackage return or factory damage. I purchased this table along with a commercial skink to upgrade my outdoor deck kitchen. Now it's going on my cargo container. PROs : fast shipping, easy and super simple assembly instructions. Negatives: legs could use holes for assembly screws. Relying on pressure only will work loose and cause table to wobble. Not sure if sturdy enough for food prep. Who wants a scratched up stainless steel table that may wobble?

Amazingly, strong and sturdy
The cart was pretty easy to assemble and It looks great once you’re finished. It seems to be very sturdy, love the casters, and it’s very well built. My only complaint is that the plastic used to protect the surfaces on the shelf and the top, was difficult to remove. That was the only part of the assembly process that was pretty time-consuming
