Good to have handy
The Fobus paddle holster is a convenient, quick clip on holster. Simply take it and slide it onto your pants and you're ready to go. These are my impressions:1. The holster stays in place well. Drawing from it didn't dislodge it.2. It's easy to take off but does require two hands so if it's on right, it won't just slip off unless the material your clothes are made out of are very slick.3. The gun feels secure in the holster. I wouldn't recommend hanging upside down like a bat but you should be able to move around with no problem. If you have baggy or loose fitting gym shorts you may have a problem, simply due to the weight of the firearm.4. It does not have a locking mechanism or anything like that so if you were to wear this in an area that allows open carry, it would be easy for someone else to remove it. Always be aware of your surroundings.I got this holster mainly to attend training sessions and as a spare to lend so a range buddy who might not have one. I also use it as a "get ready quick" item. If something were to happen, I could slip this on and the Fobus mag pouch very quickly and be ready to confront whatever trouble pops up. Also, if I store a loaded Glock in a quick action safe, I store it in a holster so the trigger is sealed. This holster certainly has its uses. If you live in an open carry state and are going to go out in public (or if you do security and are appropriately licensed to do so), you should probably at minimum get a level 2 holster for that. Otherwise, it's a good holster to have handy.

Works well!
I have had Fobus holsters since they first came out. I highly recommend them and their magazine pouches too! I like the easy on and off, without touching the gun itself, the draw is smooth, concealment very good, and last "forever." Nothing fancy, but they work well and allow a fast safe draw with practice1

Economical, yet good quality holster for your Glock
I always try to review based upon price, function, and quality of a product. And based on those criteria, the Fobus Standard Series holster for Glock is a very good holster. I'm certain there are better holsters to be found, but I doubt they will be at this price point. This holster is molded to specifically fit the guns indicated in the description - mainly full frame Glocks in 9mm or .40 cal. The muzzle end of the holster is open, so length is not going to be a problem. My 17 fits perfectly - but so will your 34 or 35....When ordering, I debated between the standard Fobus holster and the Roto. I actually ended up buying both, but I prefer the Standard over the Roto - and here's why: The Roto has a weak point where the single adjustment screw connects the holster and paddle. This screw can work loose, which makes the entire rig loose. The paddle is a bit narrower on the Standard, which makes it easier to insert and remove. Lastly, the Standard fits tighter to your body (due to the absence of the roto ratchet system), which is better for concealment. I still like the Roto too, but prefer the Standard a bit. Here's what you need to know:- The materials and workmanship of this holster are very good. It is inexpensive, but by no means "cheap".- Retention is adjustable. I had to back the retention off quite a bit to get a good draw friction, but it's simple and works great.- Draw requires a fairly deliberate motion. This is by design. When drawing from this holster, you need to pull straight out with a smooth, even motion. There is no "sort of" about drawing your gun from the Fobus... I think some folks might have a problem with this, but I don't. I do recommend you put in some dry practice time with it, to get your technique into muscle memory.- The cant (angle of gun) is fixed and not adjustable. It has probably a 5 to 10 degree forward cant.- I really like the paddle design so that I don't need to remove my belt to attach and detach the holster. Here's another good thing about it - you don't need to worry about where your belt loops are - the holster can go right over them. How many times does a belt loop interfere with the "perfect position" you want! The paddle (portion that goes inside the waistband) has excellent retention tabs that really grip the belt and waistband from the inside. This holster is not going to pop out.Is this holster a good concealed carry solution? Probably not the best. That's not why I got it, I bought this for competition shooting. It is technically a "concealment" holster, but it would not be my first choice for a daily carry holster. However, it fills all the requirements for IDPA, etc. Now, here is what you NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU USE THIS HOLSTER: As soon as you take this holster from the package, apply a light coating of silicone to the entire INSIDE of the holster - being extra sure to coat the housing for the trigger guard, which is the primary retention point. This will make it much easier to draw the pistol. If you don't do this, you'll find that you have to jerk incredibly hard to draw, so hard that it will destroy any smooth technique you have. Doing this also prevents wear to your polymer frame from friction. I used a silicone cloth, but a spray followed by wiping would do just as well. I also recommend backing the retention screw all the way out, and then gradually adjust it in until you are comfortable with the amount of retention.

Fantastic product
I'm not sure what the going rate is currently on here for this but when i purchased it a little over 3 months ago it was brand spanking new on the market and was literally half what it was retailing for locally . So that being said i was a bit skeptical that i may be getting an older Gen 1 model or even a knock off perhaps . Fortunately and thankfully i can put any of your with that same notion to rest . It is an actual factual Fobus Gen 2 adjustable tension slip holster . It actually shipped from the manufacturers department of sales in Israel . This also had me a bit worried at first when i found out it's origin but with a lil' research i found out that's actually where Fobus is headquartered and operated from ( ya learn something new everyday ) In any case , S&H was free through Amazon and it stated to allow 19-25 days or some ridiculous something or the other but i can not tell you how surprised i was to have it in my hands in less than 7 days !!! FROM ISRAEL !!! Tracking numbers were supplied for those of you whom are into that daily , even hourly grind lol . The product is fantastic , i've owned a Fobus holster before and it wasn't perfect but was pretty good and i'd read and heard that these new Gen 2's were going to correct and improve those issues and more . I FULLY CONCUR ! 3 months of nearly daily wear and i can't compliment it enough , comfortable , easy to use and access , the adjustment feature is perfect and it's slim low profile makes concealed carry a breeze with my Glock 23 . I can't speak to the other fitments but the Glock fit is like a glove , i've tested and carried several of them in it and it holds them all flawlessly ... BUY THIS HOLSTER !!!
