This product is AMAZING! I am 8 months post op surgical menopause with ovary removal. While my doctors have begrudgingly adjusted my HRT to no avail, this product has been heaven sent. If your inside/outsides resemble the Sahara, DO NOT WAIT! DO NOT HESITATE! QUENCH YOUR BODY'S THIRST!

Exactly what I needed to enjoy sex again!
I've been having alot of burning and discomfort from sex for a couple of years and was getting very frustrated. I was sure my issues were from a thinning vaginal wall and I was told some atrophy as well.My new doctor suggested these and I was ready to try anything. I've used one about every 3 days for the last 2 months and have had no discomfort since! We're even back to using different positions! On a side note, we also still use lube generously (I use unscented sweet almond oil) but neither of us mind.I don't usually do reviews but if this can help just 1 woman begin to enjoy sex again like it has me, I'd shout it from the rooftops if I could.Oh, and they smell awesome!Just try them!

Finally!!!!
I don't usually write reviews, especially not for personal feminine products, but I want to make sure other women are encouraged to try these! I am 66 years old and, since menopause 15 years ago, have been searching for a safe "natural" affordable alternative to prescription cream for vaginal atrophy. I learned the hard way that no one really tells you what to expect in the post-menopausal sex department, that stinging and burning are due to loss of estrogen in your vaginal tissues and it's NORMAL.I never tried Premarin because it was cost prohibitive and seemed messy and like I was on my own trying to figure out the perfect dosage. I didn't have great results with Estriol liquid either. Finally my search led me to this product line and I was able to enjoy sex again. First I tried the EP Estrogen and Progesterone ovals, but did not like the odor and mild discharge. (I believe this is due to the progesterone building up the uterine lining.) At long last, I started using the Hydration Ovals 1x Plus DHEA and BINGO! For me, the DHEA was the secret ingredient to ongoing comfort and I now feel like I have the lady parts of a 20-something in this 60-something year old body :-) I use one insert per night and occasionally skip one without noticing any relapse. The minute this company goes out of business (heaven forbid) so, too, will my sex life.

Please read before purchasing - serious side effects
I'm so sorry to be leaving this review, but need to warn women that Estriol may not work for you. I tried exactly 4 times spread out over a couple of months because I did not know the side effect I was experiencing was due to Estriol. Thr first time I felt it caused some itching but decided maybe I imagined that and waited to try again though I also had a mild headache I didn't associate with anything other than too much computer time. Then the third time I got a weird headache but didn't connect the dots. Third time, I woke up seeing kalidescope stars, and unable to see properly took the day off to go to the optometrist because I was afraid I had torn my cornia from too much eye strain. The stars went away in a couole hours and doctor said my eyes were in excellent health. I had shooting pain in my left eye that lingered. Finally, I tried last night and woke up with stars and a headache again. Finally I connected the incidents and Googled-an Estriol side effect is occular migraines also called migraine aura due to the kaleidoscope hallucinations. My head is still hurts but at least I know what it is and it will go away. I never get headaches, so it's really weird. There was a NYT article saying that women in Europe sware by Estriol, so I was disappointed. It also explains that the brain changes in relationship to using a HRT like Estriol, so it might be that I am too old (54) and it might have worked if I started 10 years ago before I knew I needed something, which underscores the trouble. If you have read this far and feel like this could work for you, I'd say try it. Just be prepared to return it within the window if you notice these symptoms. I'm out of luck because I didn't make the connection sooner.
