I needed a wall clock for my living room and my criteria was as follows... It has to be quiet. I cant stand anything "ticking" in the room. It also has to be legible from about 40 feet. I considered getting a larger (17") version of this that they sell here on Amazon for around $40+ but I'm glad I didn't. I can see this one fine and anything larger would have been a bit imposing. I also need something I can see in the dark. I usually watch TV with all of the lights off at night. The trick here is you don't want something that's too bright. This is perfect. It has several different brightness levels and it also has a sensor that adjusts the brightness according to the ambient light levels. The instructions are a bit hard to interpret, but I somehow found the perfect setting where during the day the brightness amps up and is easily legible in a bright room and at night it dims down perfectly so as to not brighten the room at all. My walls a white and I bought the white clock with orange / yellow numerals and it's perfect. The only drawback would be is that I don't think you can stop the "colon" from blinking on this smaller model. I thought that might be distracting but as it turns out it's not. At some point it might come in handy to time something as it blinks in on second intervals. I've had it about five days now and so far it's kept perfect time. Also, it doesn't come with a power supply but I found a cheap white one here on Amazon for around $5, bringing my total to around $22. I'm very pleased with my purchase...

We have the ones with the pink numbers and our walls are all white. You would think it look trashy but for some reason it doesn't or perhaps we don't have taste. Anyway it's easy to setup, there is a backup battery in case you lose power which is nice. Unfortunately it didn't came with charger, but if you an usb charger around, you should be fine.Numbers can be read good during daylight, at the same time they don't bother me while i'm watching tv.

The clock is made of cheap plastic which is fine because it just hangs on the wall and keeps the price down. It’s was kinda difficult to set and in the wall mounted position it’s not practical to use the alarm features.It is powered with a USB/AC wire and that makes it need additional parts for my application( NO AC plug adapter) also to mount it requires a small screw (NOT INCLUDED)Over all it’s good but could be better with the few additional parts( AC 0plug and mounting screw)

As other users have commented, it is a bit bright for a completely dark bedroom even at the lowest setting but in my case, the orange light is not as disturbing as one might expect. Works well as a nightlight.Love the way it displays time/date/temp by cycling on its own. Very readable. I'm considering getting a second one.

This is good, only thing that’s bad is that it needs the adapter to work. No cordless functionality. That battery port is all cap!!!
