Yes for privacy, no for fingerprint reader.
It does gives privacy to my phone screen only IF the phone screen is being seen from a horizontal angle or the side. If it's being seen from a vertical angle or from the bottom or top, then theres no privacy. Also, the fingerprint reader does NOT work with this protector. The only way the fingerprint reader works is if you have a hole on the screen protector for the finger to use.

Spaces on the corner, where it does not cover the phone completely. Other than that, the product came as promised.

Imma keep it real, for the price it's listed as you get what you expect, PRIVACY screen protector. Furthermore onto the protector itself, seems unresponsive at times (doesn't flow with natural touch interaction). To summarize not worth purchase.

Great Product!
This screen is phenomenal! Doesnt hinder your text speed. Durable, scratch proof, and the privacy works great!! Adds a little distortion to your view due to the privacy feature but it's all good! Comes with the territory! Great product for great price!

Don't buy, lack of quality
IT just has the edges to stick, comes of easily, doesn't support fingerprint, blur's out front camera!.... NOT RECOMENDEBLE AT ALL!!!
