I bought this to use for board games or if people are lazy and didn't bring their own playmats for card games.The quality of the mat itself is very good. It seems like it will last a long time. It will be used weekly so I guess I'll check back with a 6 month or so review to see if it does stand up.I like the stitched edges that will help keep the mat lasting longer and prevent any peeling or fraying of the edge.The carrying case it comes in is alright, it helps store it and makes it easy to carry. I like that they packaged it with a cardboard tube and plastic sleeve to make the storage easier and keep it ridged while put away.Overall very good mat for the price.

Some frustration arises when I had problems picking up the cards from our wooden table so I bought one to give it a try and omg I just love it! The pattern is classic, the mat itself is a good thickness and very soft on the surface. Makes me feel so professional and fancy haha. BUY IT

This is the second mat I have bought. I originally bought a smaller (2'x3') one that fit well on my desk. When I decided I needed a game mat for my table, I looked for this same mat in a larger size. I have been very pleased with the quality and thickness of the mat. It is easy to pick up cards off of the mat, and dice roll quietly. I have also really liked the pattern on the topside of the mat, it looks nice on the table without being competitive with the game pieces.

After purchasing a new table for our weekly game nights, and realizing that there were a few inconsistencies in the table, I decided to look into purchasing a neoprene game mat to cover our table. The table is rectangular and has strange dimensions, so there weren't very many options available without getting a custom cut. Instead of shelling out the exorbitant fee for a custom gaming mat, I decided to purchase the Roll-Play Mat knowing that it would be a bit small for my table. Ultimately, upon purchasing, I wasn't sure if this would be something to keep or to return.When the mat arrived, it was neatly packaged into the included travel bag, which is a nice touch. It opens easily and was flat on the table with no issues. The whole thing is basically like a giant mouse pad. On our table there are some spaces around the pad, but when we played our first game with the mat, I realized that we really didn't need complete table coverage.The pattern on the mat is also nice. It is subtle, so it won't distract your gaming sessions. The pattern pops in my pictures more than it does in real life.We really enjoyed our gaming session on this mat. Card and pieces move smoothly along the surface, and the mat stays firmly in place. Rolling dice is no longer a loud affair as the dice bounce almost noiselessly across the surface. After playing on this type of mat, it is hard to imagine going back to our plain tabletop.Overall, I really recommend this product. It is well-made and a great addition to any board game table.

I ordered one a while ago to protect my wooden table when playing Mahjong and Dominoes. I really like the material and its thickness . When family members come to visit and we gather to play, they give me lots of compliments. I have resolved to start gifting this item to them.

I purchased this mat to cover a glass table top that is used for all sorts of gaming, and I couldn't be more pleased. The mat arrived rolled-up, but it is heavy enough that it rolled out flat right away; no lumps, bumps, or ripples. The surface allows playing cards to be picked up easily; my board game bits lie nice and flat and stay right where I place them, and the surface is perfect for Mahjong. The mat's dark brown pattern gives it a nice look, and is not the least bit obtrusive. The edges are uniformly stitched, and the rubber surface on the bottom prevents the mat from moving around during gaming. I would purchase this product again, and I am recommending it to friends.

Exactly what I needed. Our kitchen table’s surface made it difficult to pick up cards and setup games. We had table clothes which worked okay but my GFs floral pattern table clothes didn’t really jive well with military strategy game aesthetics I love to play.This is essentially a giant mouse pad with nicely finished edges.In the end, this fit really well and makes for gaming without the fuss. I was concerned about the pattern possibly being a little busy or distracting, but it’s very subtle and is a non issue if you were concerned about it.Comes with a nice case to store away.

This was the best deal I could find on a good quality neoprene play mat. Makes picking up cards and coins much easier, compared to picking them up off of the bare table. Also helps to keep the game and components separate from snacks and stuff on the rest of the table. Rolls up and stores nicely in the included nylon bag with shoulder strap.My friend liked it and bought himself one as well.

I read some complaints about the price, but it really is hard to get better value anywhere else on the internet. Dice rolls tend to bounce a lot and so you may want to use this with a dice tray or a vaulted table when throwing dice on it. Card slide with ease across the table and the little bit of cushion make them a breeze to pickup. If you happen to have a Flick'em Up game, the game pieces slide very smoothly and consistently across the mat, but for Dead of Winter the zombies will be quite erratic.I read some other reviewers complain about the flatness, and thankfully i haven't had a problem with it. It's perfectly flat, and i do roll it up on occasion. One note though, you may want to keep the cardboard cylinder when you roll it up to prevent it from being squished and causing permanent wrinkles.Overall, this is an excellent way to upgrade your gaming experience - my family really enjoy playing board games on this mat... and you will to.
