I am definitely a loyal customer of this company. First of all their customer service, especially Cimy, is super responsive and I have gotten 2 of my orders 1 day earlier than the expected arrival day. Even though they are based in China, the orders get to you in the States (east coast anyway) within 2-4 business days.... wow!!! As I said about the UV Toothbrush sterilizer that I bought and reviewed, I cannot scientifically vouch for its effectiveness at eliminating germs since I have no equipment to test for that, but it is a well known fact that certain spectrums of UV light does kill bacteria. So based on that, I figured bacteria is what causes decomposition or spoilage.... right? So I took 2 bananas that were from the same bunch and left one out on a plate and the other I placed in the UV Food Storage Container. Twice a day, I activated the UV light for 15 mins, for 5 days. On the 5th day (evening), to my surprise, the banana in the UV container looked like it had been sitting for maybe two days with one or two brown spots beginning to form. While the other banana was already considerably brown and starting to get soft. Now I'm no scientist, but I did pay attention in school and that was proof enough for me that this fantastic product does what it says. I had pictures to post but before I could upload them, my phone fell into a puddle during a heavy rain and... poof :( Anyway... The other exciting thing is that they sent me a brochure with the order that shows they are developing another product I know you will want to get. A UV Sterilizing Contact lens Case... can't wait!!

Hi - I am a new grandmother - and I wasn't sure how to make sure the babies items were being properly cleaned when he was visiting our house. A friend told me about this awesome Sterilization Storage Container that she purchased for the same reason so I ordered it from Amazon to give it a try. We love it! After hand-washing the babies pacifiers, small toys and other items that come in contact with his mouth (and the floor), we pop them into the iHeals container and I no longer worry about him getting sick from being exposed to bacteria or germs at our house - as we have lots of people coming and going, dogs, etc.The size is perfect and the flexibility of use is wonderful. I understand other people use this for food sterilization and I hear it's great for that as well.I think this is a great present for a new grandparent! Enjoy.

My dog has a prescription diet food that only comes in larger cans. However, he only eats a small amount of it a day. The food is expensive so I wanted to find a way to keep it as fresh as possible for as long as possible rather than throwing out the unused portion and opening a new can every day. We tried other airtight containers but after a couple days, the food was off enough to upset my dog's stomach. My brother told me about this container as he uses it for his CPAP mask. I figured couldn't hurt and gave it a whirl. It has been great! My dog's canned food stays fresher longer and no more upset stomach. My only nitpicking detail is that button to turn it on is hard to push when the sterilizing element is connected to the lid.

I am sure this product is great at sterilizing... But the design is horrid.The instructions are very clear- do not make direct eye cobtact with UV light. Well, I went to charge it on start up and for no good reason as I put the charger into the mini UV removable light, it flashes on for 10 seconds and into my eyes. Every time the charger is inserted into the product, it turns on the UV light for 10 seconds and then it shuts off and charges normally.Secondly, turning the thing on when it is seated in the lid is cumbersome and exposes your skin to UV light. The cumulative effect of small direct intensified UV light on skin like this adds up and dramatically increases a person's risk of skin cancer. This also increases wrinkles. The skin on the back of hands is very very sensitive to UV light. There should be a delayed start so you can seat the UV light back in the lid, close the lid, and reduce possible UV exposure to skin and eyes. Or they should have put the power button on the top of the lid so that you don't have to put hands anywhere near it. The removable magnetic light has no purpose other than to just be obnoxious... What else could I attach it to? My fridge? To blind everyone in my house?Lastly, read the dimensions before purchasing. Cell phones won't lay flat in this and it is pretty small.This has a lot of potential to be a great product but it is not safe for long term use.

I have been carrying food in the container while traveling. So far the led sterilization does keep fruits and snacks fresh, I think it’s especially good for storing babies food, since it’s easy for babies to get infected by bacteria. The container itself is also toxic free and has no odor, I would definitively recommend to give it a try!

We like to keep our kids sippy-cup lids in here. After washing the lids and allowing them to dry wet throw them in here with the UV light on. It's just further peace of mind that if one of our kids has a cold or flu bug that washing in hot water didn't fully get rid of. Hopefully this will finish the job. The uv light is removable for charging. Was pleasantly surprised to find the plastic had no real odor or material smell.

This unit is nicely designed, so it doesn't waste any room in the fridge or in a cabinet. The little UV lamp is held into the lid with a magnet (encased in plastic so no metal is exposed), and easily pops in and out. No odor with any of the plastics when unboxed. The container cleans easily and is great for a small serving of lettuce, and glows through the leaves, although I would turn the leaves over a few times to make sure all bugs are sterilized- something a simple wash with water cannot do.

I have cats that love to hang out on the kitchen sink, which always makes me cautious to use my dental tools or leave them out to dry. However, this container keeps them safe and sterilised! The lid locks so everything stays right where I left it. I wish it was just slightly bigger so I could put my tooth brush in there as well, but I understand they have a separate device for tooth brushes that would be great for travel.
