Do not waste your money
Do not waste your money. The shoes came in adequate packaging, however they had strong smell and ignoring that, there was mild on them. I kid you not. I am a trooper however so I just wiped it off with a warm washcloth and hoped for the best. Wore them exactly once. They are wide ok on the calf ( my size is 7.5, so clearly I have ordered size 9) but not wide enough on the foot it self. They mostly fit tho, so I wore them. After one trip to town the paper that covers your heel broke in half while trying to put them on and from there on out I could not wear them. Colossal waste of money and time .Please be kind to your self and do not waste your money.

Not extra wide fit as stated but otherwise appear nice boots
I ordered these as it stated "extra wide fit" and says 49cm max in the description. I'm a 42cm calf and these just about fit (with some elbow work stretching them as I zip up) and that's without leggings or jeans on! Such a shame as I was looking forward to finally owning a pair of mid calf boots that had room in them!!! I'm hoping to wear them under clothing for a while to try and relax the material so will update when I see how that goes and if it works. The seller needs to amend the description though as it's inaccurate and misleading ... will be contacting amazon about it to avoid many others being mislead too.**update - worn them over jeans for a couple of days, material is flexing slightly and they are comfortable boots and don't rub my feet at all, which is usually an issue for me. Love the feel of them on so hoping they give some more with wear so they don't cling to my calf as much and ride slightly down my leg by the end of the day (not major anyway just a little)**update 28/12 - revised to 1 starThe buckle on one boot refuses to stay closed and the pin in the middle keeps coming out of the hole causing the buckle to drag on the floor. Upon closer inspection the pin as been put on back to front therefore not gripping against the material (it keeps going inwards and is too short to reach the buckle) causing it to move and come out!!! See picture of boots side by side to show one is back to front and too short for the buckle ... unwearable in this condition so boots are useless :(

Great boots, but be aware of the size change!
Bought the same boots last year and absolutely loved them! They were my go-to boots for all occasions. Even walked the whole day in them when sightseeing in Paris. Perfect fit!BUT then I bought a new pair this week (because the old one was ripped in the back), and the fit has changed so much! The calf is much smaller and I can't even zip it up anymore. I read it in other reviews, but chose to ignore the warnings. My mistake! Also they have altered the toe part and now it is narrow - which squeezes my toes painfully. So no thanks! I can't use this anymore.Perhaps I will try buying a bigger size, but even then I doubt the calf will be wide enough. I am a thin person, just have slightly wider than average calves because I cycle sometimes.Anyway, be aware that these boots have changed and the size is way tighter than it used to be. So you might want to take that into consideration to order a bigger size.

UK size 8 (wide calf, not really for wide feet)
Is truly wide calf, but not really wide for feet... So if you have as well wide feet, maybe try a bigger size.I've been spending hours and days looking for a boot that fits my wide calf (between 18" and 19") and this one is amazing, has 2 elastic bands in the back of the boots that really helps (you may need to stretch it a bit while closing them). I'm a UK size 6 and I bought that size and long is OK, but a bit tight around my feet, and I don't really have wide feet, but they aren't too thin either (maybe something mid way), I think I won't be able to use it with thick socks (but I'm sure I'll be able to use warmers, just for the calf).

so we were both disappointed.
I bought these boots for my daughter because it was stated that they were extra wide calves which I would have thought that the feet would be too.they didn't fit her,so we were both disappointed.

Cheap, but still not worth it.
Not what I was expecting, the majority of the boot is an elastic panel, which although it does stretch to fit the calf, the Zips are nigh on impossible to do up (from the ankle up) the boots themselves are also a very small fit. Normally wider calf boots are also wider in the foot, these are smaller than a normal 5. I really wish I had sent them back, but I didn't, I wore them to work yesterday and ended up crippled! They will be going in the bin. 😔

Disappointed
Had thought I'd eventually found a boot that would fit. Sadly not. They were more like a standard calf width

Don't waste your money
Unfortunately the shoe part is narrow, the front of the boots look like Wellington & all the back/sides elasticated, I am returning these, so if want patent leather boots as I do, these are definitely not an option so look elsewhere.
