Great Pen in any color!
I've used these Pens for years - extra fine - since green is my signature color, I buy this one.Don't use ballpoints. Amazon has so many assortments. You are missing something by not trying this great writing instrument.

BEST PEN EVER FOR DAILY USE - TRY THEM AND YOU'LL SEE!
These pens are excellent!!! I started using the Pilot Precise Stick Rolling Ball pens (V5 (fine) and V7 (extra fine)) when they were first introduced, and I discovered the V5 Green rolling ball pen then and have been using it as my pen of choice since that time. I use the other colors, too, but the green is spectacular. The rolling ball performs superbly in both widths. It can be difficult to find an extra fine rolling ball pen that doesn't skip or have other ink delivery issues but Pilot's Precise Stick Rolling Ball V7 has no such issues. The V5 pens are also faultless in their ink delivery. All of the colors are good - nicely saturated and clean on the page. Every once in a while a pen will develop a leak - airplane travel can sometimes result in a leaking issue - but out of the thousands of these pens that I have owned and used over many decades, this leaking situation occurs in a tiny percentage of uses. I raise it because when one of the pens does leak, your fingers could carry the ink color for a day or so. Very rare, but a teeny possibility. Do be sure to keep the cap on when not in use and push the cap in until it clicks. I have fancy (expensive) fountain pens, some with cartridges and some requiring bottle filling, as I like liquid ink. As much as those expensive pens are fun to use, these Pilot Precise V5 and V7 Stick Rolling Ball Pens are my go-to writing instruments 365 days a year.

My Favorite Pen
This has been my favorite brand of pen for several years now. I used to buy the black version, but I needed something that stood out more at work. Green is my favorite color so I made the switch and I couldn't be happier. The ink is smooth and flows well regardless of writing in print or cursive. It doesn't smudge after a few seconds of drying time, even when highlighted over. I like the bright green, which is the same as the plastic of the pen. Other brands, and even different models of the same brand are not as vibrant or are different than the color I believed I was getting. This is a simply a nice and comfortable pen to write with, be it long letters or short notes.

Pilot Precise Roller Ball Pen -- Green
Great pens. I use them to corect all of my students' papers (because green is better on the psyche than red... However, they only get 4 stars because they leak after being on an airplane, even though one ad I saw says they're "airplane safe." Similar pens of other brands don't leak midair, so apparently the problem can be fixed. However, Pilot is the only brand I've found that has boxes of green pens that aren't ballpoints -- and I do go through a lot of them!

My favorite (disposable) pen...
Pilot Precise V5 pens are definitely my favorite disposable pens--I've used them almost exclusively for many years... I've personally gone through over 150 of these pens including blue, black, red and green. The ink color is rich and bright (in the case of the green pen, the ink color is almost exactly the same color as the plastic pen) and the ink flows smoothly and consistently. This isn't a ballpoint pen (note that they call it a "ball stick"); basically, the point of the "stick" functions similarly to a nib.I prefer the extra fine point, but that's really just personal preference. I like the thin grip area, which in my opinion gives the writer more control over the pen as opposed to a thicker grip (ex: Pilot G2).The cap insures against accidental leakage and accidental extension/retraction, which is one of the reasons I prefer this pen over retractable-style ballpoints. Even in the scenarios described below, I have NEVER had one of these leak with the cap securely on the pen. So, you can carry them around in purses, pockets, etc. without fear of leaks. This pen has some cons, though: (1) If you put too much pressure on the tip of the pen while writing, it will bend (it's possible to bend it back into alignment, but I've had tips break after repeatedly being bent in different directions, causing a leak). (2) Under extreme heat (for example, if you leave them in your car in mid-summer--especially in direct sunlight), they may start leaking (no idea why).

Best pen in the world
Been using them for over 30 years, best there is. Green is a high contrast color for editing.
