CATEYEOrb Front Bike Light: Front Light with Polished Design, Black

Great little light, very bright with 3 modes. Good for daytime use to get drivers attention as well as in the dark

The CatEye Orb Front Bicycle Light is possibly not the brightest or the best Front Light in the bike world, but, it's by no means dim and it's bright enough for most applications - and I'd say it's certainly brighter than most of the generic ones of the same style of this light that I've used. The CatEye Orb Front Light, like its rear version, comes complete with the 2 Button Cell Batteries required to power it, and the battery power seems to last a good while in normal everyday use.The unit is nicely made and nicely finished, and in the Black Finish blends well with the black handlebars found on most bikes now, and quickly attaches to a bike with absolutely no faffing about.The light has 3 different modes - a conventional steady or constant beam, and 2 slightly differing flashing modes - the flashing modes of course use less power and prolong the life of the batteries. However, as the Cateye Orb Lights are relatively cheap and also pretty small, I actually use them in a pair on the front of my bike with one positioned either side of the stem on the bike's handlebars, and set one of them to its 'constant beam mode' and the other one to a 'flashing mode' which gives me the benefits of both modes and both worlds - and also, incidentally, keeps me within the law, as cyclist's riding without a steady fixed light at night (either knowingly or unknowingly) are falling outside the law.

Don’t expect mega brightness but they work well enough and are unobtrusive. Perfect as a back up

Great for emergencies or riding TTs in the UK

I have used these for several years and they have proved ultra reliable serving severe weather where far more expensive lights failed.

Es muy sencillo cambiar las pilas y además resistente a las inclemencias del tiempo. Perfecta para ser visto al atardecer o por la noche. y en un momento de necesidad orientándola bien incluso podría iluminar a corta distancia.

Una piccola luce a led molto evidente, essenziale e robusta. Con la fascia elastica apposita si adatta ad essere montata praticamente su ogni tubolare. Perfetta per rendersi visibili (attenzione: non è fatta per illuminare la strada!), funziona con delle batterie piatte durevoli e facilmente reperibili con poca spesa.
