AeroGarden Harvest Elite Indoor Garden Hydroponic System with LED Grow Light and Seed Kit, Holds up to 6 Pods, Stainless Steel

I wanted to wait a couple of months before leaving a review, so here we go. First the bad...Mine didn’t come with the domed covers like it was supposed to and 3 of the seed pods didn’t germinate. It’s small with only 6 pods, so not good for seed starting a full garden. Now the good. I love it anyway!!! I’ve been trying to get everyone at work to get one. I bought a really large 20 pod system from another company and it works, I just don’t love it. The Elite I love! The buttons on the front instead of on top of the grow light are a big deal for me. I’m really short. The water spouts for each pod are awesome! I feel that is what makes everything grow faster than my other brand. The nutrients that came with it are much better than the mix my own nutrients that came with the other brand too. Just remember to shake them up regularly or they settle. Build quality - It seems to be made much better than my other brand. The stainless steel matches my kitchen and looks so pretty! Ease of use - It was so much easier to setup and get going than my other brand. And the instruction book was easy to understand. Value for the money - She is a little more pricey for only 6 pods. And as I said in the beginning it didn’t come with everything and 3 pods didn’t produce. So I wouldn’t pay full price for it, but if you can catch her on sale... oh yeah I would and do recommend it. It’s fun to come home from work and see how much everything has grown!! My husband says I just light up, but I love gardening! I started my seeds for my outdoor garden in my traditional seed trays by the window. The same day I started a few of the same seeds in my Aerogarden. The Aero garden starts are 2-3 times bigger with huge root systems. I can’t wait for my plants to get big enough to transplant and start a new one. Grows beautiful lettuce, mustard greens, cherry tomatoes and basil! I hope this helps.

Before purchasing the Aerogarden Elite, I had bought two different knock-off brands that were much less expensive -- but also didn't work very well. It was nearly impossible to tell the water levels on them, whereas with the Aerogarden it's easy - and it also lets you know when you need to add food too. Plus the Aerogarden has a pump that recirculates the water rather than letting it just sit and get all slimy. I have been absolutely thrilled with the results -- thick bushy cherry tomato plants, jalapenos, and lettuce so far. Note that unless you have bugs flying around in your house, you will probably need to hand germinate the blossoms -- easy to do with a small paintbrush, and just swab from flower to flower and something is sure to stick. (Pro tip: I have tried sprouting and planting strawberry seeds but I wouldn't recommend it -- you do have to sprout them first, which is really a pain. Then out of 100 or more seeds that you sprout, at least for me, only 3 of them grew and two of those didn't survive.) I'm really thrilled with this for herbs and tomatoes.

Already own one of these for several years, and it’s such a joy to have! So I had to get another!In the summer months, I raise a LOT of basil, a very favorite herb of mine, for both cooking and pesto. In winter, I do have a cooler room and a raise lots of spinach for fresh eating and cooking.Just remember, between planting successions, disconnect all electrical parts and disassemble all parts to clean and sterilize the unit inside & out extremely well to prevent any cross contamination and to remove roots left behind after discarding previous plants. I use Dawn dish soap with a moderate bleach solution along with a stiff vegetable brush to get in all nooks & crannies!

I received the arrow garden and it was ready to go. I put everything together put the plants pods in and the dill and one other one. I don’t remember which one it was did not sprout at all the other four did. And it’s growing like it was supposed to, in place of the two that didn’t grow like they were supposed to. I planted some lettuce and everything seems to be growing nice now.

We purchased this and had some luck with peppers, romain, parsley and basil. Easy to use and the product tells you when to add water and plant food. It fits nicely and doesn't take up too much room. The pods are good but we would suggest more variety. When using other types of pods, the success rate wasn't good. We might go to a larger version.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Does not come with the “included” grow domes as advertised and even though the company customer service takes full responsibility, they “REFUSES TO HELP” due to them saying the domes are no longer needed and the plants will grow without the domes. Fix the ad if you aren’t going to give customers what’s included in the ad. Maybe offer to send a small gift as an apology for not making good on your side of the order. Nope, nothing. Screw you AeroGarden customer! This purchase is directly from the AeroGarden Amazon store. They need to take responsibility. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! The ad has been up for weeks as they claim they are “working” on fixing it. PULL THE AD DOWN! Incredibly disappointed in what I thought was the leading company in this space. If you are interested in getting ripped off, and having the company fully admit they ripped you off but won’t do anything to fix the situation, AeroGarden is the company for you!
