Good charger just a little slow
Only think keeping it from 5 stars is that charge time seems longer than in the camcorder. Other than that, great option to have for charging the batteries.

Great little battery charger for my Panasonic battery
At first I was a little concerned because I was expecting a Panasonic charger (VW-BC10PP). However, considering the price, that wasn't realistic. This is a substitute or generic version for that model. However, I tried it out with a half depleted battery and it worked just fine. Red light while charging turning to orange/yellow when complete. I let the battery (standard battery for the V-550 Panasonic camcorder) sit in the charger a while longer to see if the protection circuits worked. And as far as I can tell they did just fine. The battery never got hot or even warm. And when I checked it in the camcorder it was indeed fully charged. Plus it didn't take any longer to charge using this charger than charging in camera. So all in all I'm happy with this product. Don't know how long it will last but it works just fine now. And for the price, it's a steal.

Great buy
This was a nice surprise answer to my problem. i did lost the regular battery charger that comes with the camera. Big and always tangle cord. This really compact, cordless charger is really convenient for travelers. Already used it with great results. great buy, great price.
