I ordered these shades for our guest room. In the morning it is bright at 5:15 am when the sun rises so I needed something to go behind our Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades (which are white). My HD shades are an inside mount with a headrail so I needed a tension shade to fit in the actual window, not the window frame. These are perfect. You can't see the rolled shade when its up due to the headrail from the other blind. They are light blocking but do have a gap, as the seller states, on the sides. These go right against the window because of the way I have put them up and I plan to use a small adhesive magnet and attach them to the top of the bottom window so they stair step down to the window sill. When I hold them that way there is no light gap whatsoever. I did not take a picture of that yet. These pictures are at noon on a cloudy day.You won't go wrong ordering these blinds!! Oh, and shipping only took about 10 days despite getting notifications saying they would be here in November!!

Have had this roller curtain for about 1 week. It is perfect for us.The roller shade fits well and instillation a snap. The video provided in the advertisement is all you need to install this device and adjust the tension. The written instructions provided are small, and hard to follow especially regarding increasing the tension.This is perfect for an apartment where tools are not available for inserting a hard fixed roller shade or holes in the dry wall are discouraged. The chain guard does require screws or nails but we used double sided industrial strength adhesive tape instead (we dont have young children).As noted by others, this does not provide complete blackout and light on the sides does seep through but the device for the price and ease of installation is good enough.

This turned out exactly how I wanted it. My window is more than 7 ft wide so I was worried about whether a tension rod shade could actually stay up, but it does! I've had it for a couple months, pulling it up and down every day, and it hasn't budged. Very easy to install too.

OMG! I can't believe how easy this shade product mounts inside my window. I have metal window frames and the only trouble I had was removing the old plastic venetian blind mounts. Once removed, I put the tension mounts on both end of the shade, placed the shade in the window, turn the tension wheel, the shades stayed put and I have a beautiful shades. The emails from the company made sure I submitted the proper measurements before the process began and they asked and were willing to made special adjustments to accommodate my windows if I had unusual measurements. I couldn't be happier. I'm going to place another order. No drills, No screws, No brackets, No hammer, No nails, NO PROBLEMS!!! Thank you!

absolutely zero clue I how to set this up. I’ve had them for two months and no one can figure it out

I bought my first three and put them up in minutes. I love the color. I ordered some for my doors in too. I loves these.

This is the second “problem window” I have purchased this shade for. Company is great to work with and has great communication. Very happy with both purchases.
