Worked well. Here's a hint to make things easier. Pull the old plug from the right side of the trans to the left side. There is a whole lot more room on the left side to splice wires or remove pins from the old plug and install in the new one.

I bought this to replace the connector that had a damaged retainer clip. Since my wiring and contacts were servicable, i de-pinned the connector and replaced with the new housing. My 1995 e150 5.8 now shifts like new. I will stress the importance of cleaning the contacts and handle the connector release clip and contact clips gently. My old connector was very brittle.

With the exception of 2 wires that didn't match my 1995 harness, this connector was as close to OEM as one can reasonably expect for aftermarket. Truck runs great again and hopefully the repaired harness will last many years.
