Amazon Basics Dumbbell and Barbell Grips, Multiple Sizes

The current bars I use to swap out my weights end up giving me callouses unless I glove up.With these little grips, a little extra padding gets added, which is slightly easier on the hands. I bought these used from Amazon and have no regrets, because I plan on beating them up over their life span as well.I went with the smaller size because I didn't know how it would impact my form. I have to say, it's a pleasant little upgrade when it comes to doing normal exercises. I don't need to adjust much on my end, but I did notice that I had to be a little more purposeful about how I hold the weights with these on the bar.I always wanted to have a little extra force applied to my forearms/grip strength when lifting, and I think these grips do the trick. I can't post any gains for now. The smaller version that I bought seems fine, but based on how this feels, I would also spring for the larger one if I could grab it on a deal.Bottom line: I would recommend this if you're looking to throw some variety into your curls.

I purchased this product after a certain vegan YouTube bodybuilder has recommended this to his audience. I have felt a substantial increase of muscle mass in my arms after lifting with these grips. I feel the difference in my forearms more than anywhere else, but I have noticed significant muscle mass increase throughout my arms in the past three weeks of use. I have received comments from frequent lifters into investigating time into this product. They seem to want it for deadlifts.These grips feel good and snap on to any dumbbell in the gym in just seconds. When switching from weights to cardio, they fit in your pockets without being a nuisance. It is a nice edition to the family of commonly used gym products like phone, headphones, and water bottle. They are cylindrical, so it would not be good to drop them and roll under a treadmill or other piece of gym equipment. A slight hexagonal shape may help to enhance this product or similar products to avoid possible loss of the product. It is worth purchasing for anyone who is serious about building muscle mass over the matter of a few weeks of consistent use.

After reading the negative reviews on this item I have come to the conclusion that most (if not all) of them must work for Fat Gripz. These have been amazing so far (2+ months of use) and I have no complaints regarding quality, comfort, or appearance. While they may not be marketed by Insta influencers or professional bodybuilders, I see no reason why these can't get the job done. Not to mention, for 1/4th the price of Fat Gripz, if the item does begin to show wear and tear I can purchase them 4x over before paying for one set of FGs. If you have been on the fence regarding purchasing a set of grips, but have a hard time justifying $30 on them, these are for you!

These grips are very durable and versatile. Have transferred them between several dumbbells during the past 5 months and they have not stretched out and slipped around. Without these grips, the dumbbell handles press into tendons and ligaments and hands ache. With these grips I can do multiple sets and there hands are not in pain. I feel the hands are much stronger from the extra thick grip. Entertaining idea of getting a couple extra sets so I can rotate to different weights without having to swap between weights.

It's a good accessory but not really that important. I don't have small hands but still feel some discomfort in using it. And I mean, not the first time user discomfort but every time I use it. So IMO, if you have small/er hands, don't bother to get any grip/s. But if you insist in getting it, who am I stop you.

I'm sure these are great for weightlifting, but I bought them to decrease how far I had to lean over to reach my Peloton handlebars. I had a back injury, and could not bend as much while I was recovering. The black, 5.3 inch pair fits perfect on the horizontal bars of the Peloton and bring it out and up by over an inch, which make a difference. These would be great for someone who is short and having a hard time reaching the bars as well.

I bought these grips for the Amazon Basics adjustable dumbbells (20 lb each). They are perfect fits! They increase the dumbbell bar diameter from 1-inch to 2-inch, making it more comfortable to grip and, more importantly, causing me to exercise my grip more. The material feels high quality. Great value!

This product is fine, and it does what it is supposed to do. It can be a bit awkward to find a good rotation to grip it from because of the wide gap. And I think the price is a bit inflated for a simple piece of ...silicone, or whatever. But it works as expected, so I am happy with it.

Habe mir die Grips hauotsächlich für meine Klimmzüge und andere Zugübungen geholt. Kurze Zeit später auch für's Kreuzheben. Und ich kann nicht mehr ohne sie. Sie haben meine Griffkraft mit zusätzlichen Training mit Fingerhanteln enorm verbessert. Die Unterarme machen jetzt nicht mehr so schnell zu und das Training fühlt sich einfach irgendwie besser an. Absolute Kaufemfpehlung. Gerade für den Preis!

The grips have been a fantastic addition to my equipment list.Having used them for over 6 months now, I can vouch for their durability. These grips are still holding up well and haven't worn off significantly.They help with forearm hypertrophy as well as grip strength gains.It might take a bit to get used to it, but in the end, it is worth the extra forearm hypertrophy.Even for being Off-Brand Fat-Gripz they do their job well and aren't significantly worse.If you're looking for Fat Gripz these are definitely worth considering.100% Recommended.

I purchased this to use on my 1-inch barbell to replicate the feeling of griping an Olympic 2-inch bar bell in my home gym. This feels more natural and has reduced strain on my hands. I am happy with this purchase.
