Wow! One tube lasted a full year
I was so, so sad when Glossier changed its Balm.com recipe. Yes, I know the old recipe had petroleum byproducts, but if I just put a little on my lips after lotion overnight, my lips would be smooth and hydrated all day the next day. So, I went looking for something similar--a one and done highly moisturizing lip balm/sealer to wear overnight (this time without the petroleum byproducts). In March 2023, I found Lanolips and ordered a tube. Reader, it worked perfectly! Every night for one full year, I have applied a small amount of this product to my lips after applying lotion to my face and lips. The next day, my lips are perfectly plump and moisturized, a smooth and shapely canvas for one of my collection of almost 50 lipsticks. Yes, I do take lips seriously. Now it's March 2024, and my trusty tube of Lanolips is running low. Reader, I can't believe ONE TUBE LASTED A WHOLE YEAR. When I bought my tube a year ago, it seemed a little pricey, but averaged out over a year, it's been a bargain. I don't worry about losing it, because I never have to reapply, so I leave it at home. Once at night lasts through to morning, once in the morning lasts all day. Lanolips, I'm yours for life. I'm ordering another tube today. I'll hit you up again in 2025 and every March thereafter. I'm also considering ordering a lotion from this brand since they have proven to be such a dependable product at a bargain price.

Best balm on the market!
Lanolips 101 Ointment has completely saved my lips! I struggled with constant dryness and burning, and nothing else worked—until this. From the first use, I noticed a huge improvement, and now, I’ll never go back to another balm. It keeps my lips soft, hydrated, and comfortable for hours. While it’s a bit on the pricey side, it’s absolutely worth every penny. If you’ve tried everything and still deal with dry lips, this is the game-changer you need!

Really works!
This lip ointment really works. I use it at bedtime and it actually stays on during the whole night doing its job moisturizing my lips!

Fast acting and sooooooo hydrating!
I had ridiculously chapped lips. Skin peeling off, a couple of blood spots from skin peeling off - the worst. And why? because I stopped using my trusty aquaphor because that or Vaseline contain petrolatum which can break down into micro plastics and harm the environment- particularly marine life. So I was on the lookout for something that was natural and moisturizing. Got some beeswax initially - but I kept it in too large a bottle and so frequently forgot to apply. I also had to warm it up in my hand / fingers a lot before I applied it to my lips. So chapped they stayed. Until I found this wonderful natural product. Feeling quite sheepish that I didn't spot it earlier :DLanolin is easy to warm up between my finger tips and apply on to my lips and the product is so hydrating. I've been using it for ~3 HOURS now and all the dry skin is off and my lips feel super moisturized. It also doesn't feel like some goop is on my lips - which is how most other lip balms (including aquaphor) make me feel. You barely feel like there's anything on your lips - which is exactly how I like them. The product is a bit tricky to squeeze out of the tube - because it's pretty cold outside right now. But you only need a minuscule amount. So this works great!

Good product, needs an applicator
My only complaint about this product is that it does not come with an applicator to apply it directly to your lips. It’s just a screw top, and you squeeze it out like a tube of toothpaste. It makes it less convenient to use, as I need to put it on my finger or a Q-tip and then on my lips, or less pleasant if I squeeze it directly on my lips. Otherwise, I like this product. It soothes and moisturizes my lips. It doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin. It is a bit thick for regular use, but I put it on before bed and my lips are soft and moisturized when I awaken.

Expensive, the applicator is scratchy, but it's a fantastic product
I get chapped lips in winter like many who live in a dry, cold climate, and I'm trying not to use petroleum-based products. A dermatologist on YouTube recommended lanolin for lips and nips, which sent me down the rabbit trail of researching products, and I ordered multiple brands to see if there were any differences. (Dr. Lipps, Lanolips, and so on). Spoiler alert: no difference between the products. I'm not getting any unpleasant scent or taste, it works as advertised to smooth my lips. The only disadvantage of this product vs the others is the applicator. It's more like an old-fashioned ointment tube which is scratchy on my lips, so I put it on my fingers to apply. Then again, lanolin is good for all the bits of us that crack and peel, including fingertips and cuticles, so there's not really a downside.

Wasn’t expecting to like this as much as i do
great ointment for dry skin. It’s not a lotion who once its rubbed in, it absorbs into the skin almost instantly without leaving you feeling slimy!

Lots of tube, but short on cream
It seems there was a lot of air on this tube. Good product but I wouldn't buy again since results weren't that great.
