These humidifier pads worked just as expected - good product life and quality.

As my devise uses two filters, it would be nice to be in a two or four pack. Case pricing would be even better, if it offered a bulk discount.

We are solid citizens - honest we are. We vote, we pay taxes, we share, we care. But when it comes to replacing filters we confess that we are guilty of benign neglect. It doesn't matter what filter we're talking about. HEPA filters? Pfft! Furnace filters? Touchy subject - don't go there. But when the dry winter months plopped their miserable carcasses on us once again this year we somehow sensed it might be time to replace our humidifier before we cranked it up again. Maybe it was because we've never replaced it and can't remember whether we purchased the humidifier before or after the advent of the microwave oven. Of course, I figured maybe we could avoid replacing it by soaking the original filter in a bit of vinegar or something. So I lifted the old filter out to see what needed to be done. Horror show. The center of the filter was woven full of compacted dog hair and vicious dust bunnies. The filter itself had turned into a calcium brick. I reluctantly pronounced it beyond salvation, we observed a moment of silence, consigned it to the trash and began the search for a replacement.The search for replacements for anything online is never easy. We can seldom find things specifically listed for the model number of the doohickey we have - if we are able to find the model number in the first place. But this one did seem to match ours and the picture on the web page did resemble what ours must have looked like long, long ago before we began our years of silent inattention. So we crossed our fingers and ordered it.To our delight and surprise it actually fits our Sunbeam SCM3755C perfectly! Others have noted it is difficult to install. Rookies. True, it does not plop blithely into place. You have to futz with it a bit to coax the top edge into the plastic piece that is responsible for maintaining its form. But it isn't a labor of Hercules for crying out loud. Took maybe a minute.Our humidifier is now up and running for another too long, dry winter and we're simply grateful that we did not have to wind up shelling out much more money to replace the whole thing. Besides, the whole process provided the opportunity to give the rest of the appliance a bit of a cleaning as well. A success story all around. And now maybe the dogs will stop sparking like a Van de Graaff generator gone rogue every time we reach out to scritch them this winter.

Expensive but they work

I have been using these humidifier filters for a few weeks now in my son’s room, and they appear to be high quality. I’m not sure how long they’re designed to last until I use them longer, but no visible mold or discoloration after several weeks of use.They are an excellent fit for an older Bionaire humidifier, they were the exact size and material as the original filters. While I couldn’t find the exact filter type that the humidifier stated (it’s old), I found these to be the same ones but with a different part number. Doesn’t matter to me, they work perfect.The ones that I received had the blue tabs (picture) in the exact position as the originals. The filters slid into the slots perfectly and they absorb the water as designed. Buy these if your humidifier uses this type, try and stay away from the no-name brand filters that are cheaper but less quality.My only gripe about this was that they came in a 3-pack (still a 5-star product, just ranting). My humidifier only uses 2 filters so my options were to have 1 extra filter, or buy another 3-pack and have 4 spare filters. Once I used the filters for a few nights and determined that they worked well, I bought another box to have some spares on hand.

My humidifier was acting crazy -- the "add water" light was staying on, I couldn't control the gauges, and even when I ran it overnight, the water tanks never ran dry. This went on for a couple weeks and I was convinced it was ready to be trashed, which annoyed me, because it was bought new only a couple years ago, and it was expensive.One of the broken gauges indicated that the filter needed replacing, so even though I had just put in a new filter a couple months before, I decided to try that before dumping the expensive humidifier. I ordered the filter through Amazon, and it arrived within a few days.Opened the humidifier to replace the filter and nearly gagged. I could't believe the moldy filter and brackish water. I'd been breathing that? Ugh.I took out the old filter and tied it in a plastic bag so I could get rid of it without breathing any more of the mold in. Wished I'd had a hazmat suit, or at least a mask. Then I ran the new filter under some water for a minute or so, so that it would stretch over the drum when I replaced it. Cleaned out the humidifier, put the new filter and fresh water in, and... miracle. The gauges work, the water tanks empty, and the house isn't one big electric spark minefield.The new filter was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, and saved me from having to buy a new humidifier. So glad on all counts.

The product is a direct replacement for the manufacturer part but the price of $45.00 plus $35.00 shipping has made it not economical to purchase for 3 filters (unit cost $26.66 per filter) which my humidifier requires 2 filters and just last one winter season, has increased the cost to operate.

This filter fits my HM3500 perfectly.On medium speed it has has kept the humidity of a 2 storey home at least 10% higher than without humidification. That was during the winter cold snap. I have pretty hard water so it is always an issue to extend life of the filter as long as possible. Lucky to get a month out of one. I have tried, and returned, other filters that did not humidify at all, so I am happy to have found this one. The price is reasonable too.It is missing one star because only a cleanable filter to extend its life would make it perfect.

It takes way too long for delivery, it's very expensive, and I'm disappointed that my indicator after about 7 days use is already starting to show that I should be thinking about replacing my filter already! What gives with that? It does however wick very well.

I find that they have to be replaced about once a month since the stop wicking the water. I have soaking them in vinegar but that didn't work. Rather expensive to replace so frequently. But when they work they do a good job.

Filter was easy to fit into my Sunbeam SCM3755-CN as replacement. I didn’t realize what a difference the new filter made overall. Unit is cycling on/off instead of running constantly and definitely more efficient. Lesson learned to change it more often!
