Updated review
To add to my previous review in which I only gave 2 stars. I am updating with 5 stars. The first set of these I received was clearly defective or something. After leaving a poor review, I immediately had a response from the seller, with an offer of replacement or refund. I chose to have a replacement, and within a few days had a brand new set.Having taken them to a couple concerts I can now say they work great, and are exactly what I was after. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time as well.*********************Very disappointed - and would not recommend.I go to a lot of concerts and festivals, quite often very loud, so having ear plugs on hand is necessary. I have had a number of this style ear protection over the years - and these ones just don't cut it.I am not sure if I got a faulty set, but the one vibrates to the music.... louder than the music. It was as if the filter was broken or loose, I tried to fix it but didn't have any luck. It was unbearable to the point I actually didn't bother with them for the rest of the gig.Only giving two stars, because the case is handy, the fit is comfortable ... and they would be fine or sleeping I guess. For anything other than that, they are a waste of money.

Easy to use but uncomfortable
I like the little metal pot to keep the earplugs in and the design is smart and sensible. Insertion of the earplugs is easy, much easier than the squishy foam ones I have used before. However, due to the fixed shape of the plugs, they tend to leave air gaps rather than shaping to the ear canal, therefore allowing sound in intermittently which is annoying when trying to sleep! The plugs are relatively comfy to use for sleeping, having no external handle to press them into the ear, however the shape isn't as soft as it seems and the edges of the plugs pressed into my ear canal after a few hours, making them sore. The plugs are very easy to remove, clean and store, and noise cancellation is generally good (snoring, car noise, etc) but I wouldn't recommend them for people with sensitive ear canals.

Not for me...
I bought these ear plugs as I had lost my previous pair and very much liked the case and the neck cord however, although I tried both of the ear plugs provided, I couldn't make them fit properly. So I can't really comment on the noise reduction as I don't know whether it works or not! Given the previous good reviews I'm sure it's just my ears but unfortunately I'd had them too long to return them and of course I'd used them

Perfect...for a tenner, they do everything you would hope
I was finding myself to be more irritable during and after concerts and thought I'd try earplugs just in case sound was the issue. It turns out, it likely was; I picked these earplugs, they fitted really well (after trying different fittings for ten minutes...make sure you do this first for the best experience) and the little carry tin is really great to put on your keychain, so you don't need to remember them every time you head out to a gig.The sound cancellation for me is perfect...I still enjoy most of the richness of the live sound without it sounding too muffled and yet I feel more comforted by the lack of decibels entering my ears. It means that I enjoy the concert more than in years and don't feel myself looking to the exit to leave early. If this sounds familiar to you or you're worried about this in future, give these a try. It might be the best £10 you spend if you're a gig goer!

You only get one size of ear plug and no cord
Contrary to the description, you only get one size of ear plug and no cord. Does its job relatively well, but fit could be better. My ears a medium to large on the ear bud sizing and these were almost too small

Pointless
I am sorry to harshly reveiw these earplugs but if you are looking for protection go for something else. If you wear them or not, it's exactly the same. They do not protect from any sound, I don'understand how people use these sleep. Absolutely pointless, they should provide with more filters, the blue ones do not protect from anyting. I need earplugs as I suffer from ear sensitivity so I have some little experience with earplugs, go for somethin else.

Cheap and Effective
I used these continuously for about four nights of really loud bassy music and my ears were fine. Comfortable, good value, didn't compromise the music.I've also used really expensive custom hi tech ear protection and if I'm honest these felt just as effective. They will irritate your ears a bit with hours of usage, but to be honest short of customs molds everything will.

I suffer from hyperacusis
These ear plugs actually worked pretty well. I suffer from hyperacusis (I get pain from noise) and tried these at a concert at the local pub. They removed the echo and high frequency tinny sound effects that hurt my ears. I have extremely shallow ears so the smaller version was somewhat okay (could have been better). I had to push it in quite hard and find some way of moving it around so it blocked the sound, and it hurts my ears a bit. It’s not really all that comfortable but for the price at least it helps. I did find hearing people’s talk from further away quite impossible to make out. I don’t know how these would work at the sort of comedy festival where I got the hyperacusis in the first place. The sound tends to be loud and obnoxious while it’s difficult to hear what they are saying if you wear any kind of ear plugs.
