I have run a swimming pool service for 23 years, and serviced thousands of pools. It was a great day when generic cartridge production began for the Sta-Rite system 3 models. I have now bought this specific brand 9 times and I can tell you they are just as good as the OEM filters. People complaining that their pool turned green three days after putting these filters in are full of it. That would only be caused by operator error. And having the physical dimensions off by a quarter of an inch is a ridiculous complaint. This isn't a space ship. Anyway, I require customers to replace this model of filter cartridge every four years. I clean them on a 6-month interval. With that maintenance schedule these filters do a great job.

It is not the same quality of the Pentair cartridge filter, but so far it is holding up to being cleaned more than a few times already. Thank you for the quick delivery and making a quality product.

Fantastic customer service plus the install went better than expected. The price was competitive considering the quality of the product, which I consider a great value. Finally the installation instructions were well written which included a parts list of my whole Sta-Rite system.

Filters fit like a glove and came packaged nicely. Quality and craftsmanship seem comparable to the OEM filters. We'll see how they hold up over the next year or so. If anything changes when I clean them in 6 months, I will definitely be back to adjust my review accordingly.

Good quality products

When sellers advertise something as "same as OEM", they better be careful. These are NOT the exact dimensions as OEM. For example, the large cartridge is 1/4-inch taller and 1/4-inch wider than the large OEM (Sta-Rite) cartridge that I am replacing. I measured them. And a quarter-inch here and there can make a difference between a flush fit when putting the cover back on the filter housing. It wasn't a flush fit. I went ahead and put these new ones in anyway and tightened the cover, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed that I won't have problems down the line, as it would have been a hassle to send them back since I had gotten rid of the box. I suppose some blame may be on me, as I tend to trust Amazon and the people who sell on Amazon... especially when the reviews are good and it's an "Amazon Pick". False advertising? I don't know... but if a seller says "same as OEM", they (and Amazon) better be ready to get complaints if they are proven wrong and there are problems with the product. Pretty disappointing that those cartridges that I installed aren't a *perfect fit*. Buyer beware!!!
