Not waterproof, could be brighter, need better batteries
I got these because the description said that they were waterproof. They aren't. The door for the battery and the on-off switch are on the bottom. Strangely enough, they will work in the water, but after a few hours, they start to corrode and brown melts into the water. The light level diminishes and when you remove them from the water, the switch does not turn them off, it just dims them. Eventually, the battery goes dead. So, if you need to use these in water, put them up on something to lift them out of the water; otherwise, they're a one-night single-use.I got these light due to a website saying LED tea lights worked great in flea traps. Take a pie plate, fill it partially with water mixed with anywhere from several drops to a tablespoon of Dawn dish soap, put a tea light in the middle, and you have an inexpensive trap that works very well. When using these tea lights, you’ll need to use a ramekin or something to hold the tea light up out of the water – which serves the double-purpose of raising the light so it’s more visible. Anyway, these make a good flea trap. I did more research and switched out to green LED tea lights and they work even better. (Fleas are most attracted to green/yellow-green lights. They like white and warm white/yellow lights the least.)These are decent tea lights, but the batteries are not as powerful as they could be. When I replaced the batteries with brand-name ones, these were much brighter. The other brand of tea lights I have are much brighter. While they're a slightly different design, I have to think the brightness is due to the quality of the battery.Let Amazon donate to your favorite charity! cheap quality
They do the job. They flicker lightly. What I did not find great about them is that they are all hand-cut at the bottom battery lid in order to have the metal portion of the switch actually work. As the switch located at the bottom is shifted to turn the light on, a plastic pusher moves a metal wire that closes the circuit; this wire sticks out of a hole at the bottom. One of the tea lights was not operating at all so I had to lightly bend the wire. The "flame" plastic is not stiff (if you fear poking your fingers or eyes with it), it is firm but it has some give. Each tea light came with a battery so I thought that the price was not bad overall, but since the build quality is poor I wonder now whether it was actually a rip off...

Okay
I thought the battery life was too short. I’ve only used two of them and one was dead within 48 hours. I forgot to turn them off during the day but I noticed the second night one was really low lighting. ?? The other one lasted about 10 days or so. But I bought plenty so they worked out.

Not bright, last foreeeeever
Bought these to go inside clay pumpkins for Halloween. They aren’t bright, which is my only complaint. Left them on all Halloween night, then forgot to turn them off. Two days and one giant rainstorm later, they were still working like little troopers, all covered in grit!! The awesome battery life is counterweighted by the dimness.

A little disappointed...
Found that all of the lights we've tried to use so far had a very rigid on/off switch that was difficult to operate. Also noticed an unstable and rather dim light offered on the 4 lights used so far. Not sure if this relates to the battery or the overall manufacturing process.Had been looking forward to standard-strength lights, but these were disappointing.

Not just for decoration -- it is useful for arts and crafts
With a small flat-head screwdriver, you're able to pull off the plastic casing from these tealights and use the flickering LED light base for anything you want. In my case, it works well as flickering lighting for a mini campfire.Battery life seems to be quite long; it has not died out yet.Even then, I'll have 11 more at my disposal! As for the presentation -- the lights themselves look realistic and the amber color is nice. With the amount of tealights you're getting, as well as the many possible ways to use this, I would say the value for the money is insane.

Horrible battery life. Deep orange, not natural glow.
Non existent battery life. Turned on & set them in different places for a nice get together. Within 3 hours they were almost dimmed all the way out. I had others around them that were still bright & flickering, so it ending up looking ridiculous. They also have a very deep orange glow. Wouldn't recommend at all.

LONG battery life!
These were pretty great. I used these to light jack-o-lanterns and they lasted more than 3 whole nights. they still aren't dead. My only complaint is one or two wouldn't stay on without opening them up(opening the battery slot) and bending the wire a little bit
