I just wrote a review for a neck thing that does the same thing but I need to do one for this As well. I have suffered from tics my entire life- not the Lyme disease causing one’s- the muscle spasms one. I’ve had it now for 20 years, since I was 10. My doctors told me if I kept using my body the way I did I would paralyze myself- great. Can’t control it, don’t know how to stop it and now I’ve got this anxiety ONTOP of it. The chronic back pain and neck pain I suffer from, from flexing and contracting my muscles in weird ways is so bad I genuinely can barely get up sometimes. The doctors told me my body has been used like that of someone 60 years old. I’ve been terrified of aging because of my fears of it getting worse. Will I be wheel chair bound by 35? I tried acupuncture and chiro and it both did wonders but it would always come back and I can’t afford to do that daily. I just feel so uncomfortable all the time. I got this to try to help my chronic Lowe back aches from the muscle spasms and I’m telling you I thought I would pass out after using this. I tried it today for the first time and felt immediate discomfort and fear but I breathed through it and knew it was just my body adjusting to what it should be sitting as. I used it for maybe 8 minutes today, 2 times so 4 minutes 2 times and I already feel so much relief. 20 years of no help and this lil board has helped my back fall back into place. I thought I would pass out from exhaustion both times I used it because of how much uncomfortable relief I felt from stretching my muscles properly.If you have chronic pain- It will feel weird and scary at first but breathe through it. Take a few moments to trust you’ll be ok and it’s safe and let the relief wash over. I’m going to bed soon because of how tired I feel from using it for a few minutes. Can’t wait to use it daily and see how it changes things.

Back in 1987 we didn’t have any of these. When my son told me about this I couldn’t believe it. He went and ordered me one for my back pain I’ve been having every since I lifted a Samsung fridge. You know those big beefy ones that take 10 people to lift?! Yea I tried to do so by myself. Anywho, he had to assemble the device because it was a little hard to change levels. I had to take it easy though and start from level one. Let me tell you something, my back has never been stretched that good in over 20 years. But once I got stage 3, It felt like Jesus was taking me to heaven, the pain relief felt so good, my soul left my body. I feel 6 inches taller and can actually golf with my friends on Monday mornings. It’s been over 34 years since I last golfed with my friends and now this device allowed me to finally play with them again. Anyways, goodnight my back is relieved and feeling good. I’m going to bed

I threw out my back and was in an incredible amount of pain if I tried to bend in any direction.This little thing was a lifesaver. I didn't want to spend hundreds to go to the dr. and get scans and then chiro/PT, so I gave this and a back brace a try in hopes that it would make the pain manageable. It ABSOLUTELY worked and now my back pain is less than what it was before it completely gave out!Assembly does require some force after the first notch. The highest notch was pretty difficult the first few times I switched it, but I'm also 5'2", so that setting just made me feel like I was almost doing a complete back bend, but seemed okay for my 6' partner. I alternate between the lowest and middle notch.The spikes on it is not painful at all and provides some needed pressure. I think you can put in on your chair and use it that way. I've just been putting it on the floor and laying on it for 5-10 minutes at the beginning and end of the day.The first time I used it, my back cracked in about 12 different places which kind of scared the crap out of me but I immediately felt so much better. I'm honestly in love with this thing and I'm pretty picky and have commitment issues. And yes- that's absolutely ridiculous because it's literally just two pieces of plastic. Now just be mindful that I never found out why my back gave out so will this be as life changing for you as it was for me? I sure as heck can't tell you, but if my 2 cents are worth anything, I'd say it's worth a try.(I'm 100% not saying that this is an alternative to professional medical care and do not follow the example of someone who makes questionable decisions about her health)

You absolutely need to check with your chiropractor, spine doctor or family doctor before buying this device. Less than two days after using this device for only five (5) minutes, I had to go to the hospital with the worst pain in my back that I have experienced in a lot of years. I have degenerative disc disease in L4-L5 and L5-S1 and experience lower back pain on a regular basis and I thought this might help stretches the muscles out a little bit. I used this at about 5pm on a Tuesday for five (5) minutes on the lowest level, woke up on Wednesday with a little more back pain that lasted all day long and then on Thursday I felt pain like I haven't felt in a lot of years. I had to have a neighbor drive me to the hospital I was in so much pain. I am not saying that this device caused all that pain but it was pretty coincidental. If you are thinking about purchasing this device or a similar device please check with your doctor(s) before you do. This device was sent back to Amazon.March 13, 2019 Update:As I stand by my original review, that being you really need to check with your doctor, chiropractor or neurosurgeon before ordering this product. I updated my stars to three (3) because the seller did a good job to make sure I was satisfied.
