Love this thing so far, I give it 4/5 only because it's not really designed for a tablet. Marketing it for the iPad Pro 2018's is a little bit of a lie as it's really built to be used with a laptop. It's a little wobbly BUT if you're using it on your MacBook, or new Pros/Airs this is great. It also works flawlessly on my iPad but I worry about long term durability of both my Pro's port and the dongle itself because it does hang a little precariously when in an upright position.The finish is sleek and has the aluminum feel so it blends in with all the Apple hardware that we've seen lately and I highly recommend as a small uber portable dongle.

The adapter is bad it started glitch all the time when I use the HDMI, this happened just three days of usage. It works better when it is upside down but still glitch... Being naive and first time user of Amazon I threw away the package after trying it out for a whole day. Maybe I just got a bad example but still annoying and cost alot to ship here so feel slightly ripped off. It also gets scolding hot after some minutes of use. The material and space grey color is nice and seems like good quality. But otherwise mine was a pretty bad example.EDIT: Their costumer service was on the other hand super fast and amazing, so in that area they get 5 stars from me.

I love this product!! I have been looking for something like this for quite sometime. The ones I found prior, all had a trade off. They either required 2 USB-C slots to connect, while giving you tons redundant ports I don’t really use, or 1 USB-C Slot to connect, and does not give you enough useful ports. This one is perfect for my 12” MacBook. It’s the perfect size (slender and somewhat compact) for a small Mac like mine, and only requires 1 slot with just the right amount of useful ports. I’m even thinking to get another one for my wife’s MacBook Pro. The price could have been a little less, but I won’t complain too much because I really love this product.

purgotech USBC-hub just came in the mail today, I was very much looking forward to get my hands on this hub after reading all the reviews. Very simple, just plug and play. The material feels gret just like my Macbook pro, and as far as the color match is concerened, the match to the macbook is spot on. For the price I believe this to be a bargain. The hub has six ports to handle what ever you plug with a led ligt to clear any doubt whether it is on or not. I would recommed this product. I give it four starsjust because I haven't tried it more then a few hours.

This is a really well made little 'docking station' - and it is a MUST HAVE for the MacBook. It feels solid and very similar in construction to the MacBook look and finish. The charging passthrough works great and plugging in USB 3 devices work well. The SD card slot requires the drive to go in upside down (see photo) which was odd at first, but no big deal once I figured that out. I wish there was a USB-C port on here as well as I do have a couple of other devices that need that, and this would be 5 star if it did have that.

I got this to use with my iPad Pro, and for many months I used it mostly as an SD card reader, and as my HDMI port on occasion.Everything port works on the unit, which the exception of the USB-C pass through for charging. I didn't discover until months after purchase, however, because I just never had a need to do that. This has changed with the increased USB capabilities of iPadOS, and suddenly being able to charge while I'm assessing external drives has become essential.I'm not seeing many others raising the charging issue, so it's probably a build quality problem in my unit. So if you purchase this be sure to check EVERY port when it arrives. The form factor and available ports are really nice, and aside from this one issue I really enjoy the unit. It's just that it's now become a BIG issue for me.

I really like this hub. Got it to extend the capabilities of my iPad pro, and liked that it attached directly to the tablet. Howerver I later decided to add a bumper case to the iPad so I gave this hub to my dad to use with his new macbook pro. In the short time we've had it it has been a valuable addition to two totally different machines and has had no issues. Looks great agains the macbook space grey color. Gives back all the port optins you could hope for when you need them, keeps things sleek when you don'!

I got this for my new iPad Pro and it works great. You can either carry a bunch of Apple usb-c dongles or this little guy. I can import from all my SD cards or external drives to do photo and video editing, use the hdmi to mirror my iPad on a TV, all while charging with the pass through usb-c port. The only issue is that it must plug in flat against the side of the iPad, so if you use a case that covers or obstructs that bottom side of the iPad around the usb-c port, you would need to pop it out of the case to use this hub, but I consider that more of a case issue than a hub issue.

Only missing a network ethernet slot but a dongle sorted that.

Fits perfectly, small and light (easy to carry), color matches with MacBook Air. Strongly recommend.

Works perfectly with my Macbook air. A must buu for mac users.
