This is a big piece of garbage! I just got it in the mail and it’s already broken! It was tour on the bottom the cover was and the soldering was in adequate! Do not buy!!! Unless you want to repair something you just bought! Piece of junk!

The reception on this antenna is extremely short range, better off with a standard antenna.

The magnet isn't much bigger than a silver doller and the 1st time I keyed up, I melted the wire contacts likely because of the poor insulation between the signal wire and the ground plane. This is designed to fail. BUYER BEWARE!

This Mag Mount is only suitabe for amateur radio use if the vehicle is stationary. If you try to drive with a whip antenna fitted it blows off.

Poorly sod joint at base of mount coax twisted when uncurling cable and pierced base material, could not recommend to anyone did complain and sent pictures, in the end I purchased another SO239 mag mount an used the antenna. But the mag mount is best described as of poor quality.

Good quality, suitable for smaller antennas, due to the small magnet type, but fine for static operation

This item arrived damaged also the cable was not connected correctly inside the mag mount as it had a short circuit

Not to good as dose not have any range for a UK cb mag mount dose not work over 38mph
