This RIHAKO face mask is my first venture into snail mucin, and let me say, I think I'm a fan! The mask is very lightly fragranced, and it goes on smoothly with a little mask spatula or just your fingers. It has a slight grit mixed in with it. It is very yellow/orange colored, probably due to the turmeric. My face skin tends to be more dry than oily and on the sensitive side. This face mask did not irritate my skin at all. It is cooling feeling but leaves a warm tingle after removing it. My face feels warm and moisturized afterward. It does not really dry up like other clay-style face masks do, so it can be easily wiped off with a warm wash cloth. I think you can get away with leaving it on a little longer than the recommended time as well because it is pretty soothing. Over all, I am really pleased with this mask. It is ready to go and doesn't need to be mixed up. The container looks small, but a little goes a long way. Over all, I really love this product!

The snail mucin turmeric mask has a creamy texture and a smooth consistency, when applied to the skin it spreads well. After washing out, my skin felt soft, supple and smooth, it also looked hydrated. I will continue to use to see if there's improvement with dark spots, I did not experience any irritation from using this product. It would have been nice if there was some sort of brush or application to spread the product rather than using your fingertips.

This mask has a slight tingling sensation when applied but not so much that it is irritating. When washed off, my face felt amazing. I cannot believe how smooth my skin was! I love this mask!

Korean skincare is absolutely amazing. this product i wish came in a larger jar, it smells good, not too strong, works great on skin, leaves skin glowing and healthy.

For the price, I love this! Most facial care items are ridiculously pricey, but this one is quite affordable. It makes my skin really soft and seems to be making a difference for the better with my pores. I have never used snail mucin before. The thought of using snail snot(basically) made me feel a bit nauseous. It's not slimy or snotty though, so I am VERY relieved. I will definitely be continuing this regimen.

I always love a good face mask and I'm a big fan of turmeric for multiple reasons so I was interested in seeing how it did applied topically. If you've ever cooked with turmeric you know you need to keep it away from light colored cooking utensils or they'll be stained golden yellow forever. I was mildly concerned this could happen to my skin so I waited to try it until I wouldn't be seeing other people for a while just in case. Upon opening it my worries immediately lessened. The turmeric saturation is very light. This mask is about the color of the middle of a deviled egg made with lots of mayo. There was definitely no discoloration to worry about. There are no added fragrances so this was very nice to use on my sensitive skin. There is a bit of grit in the mask,more like what I'd expect in a scrub than a rinse/wipe off mask, but it didn't irritate me either. The best part was just how SOFT my skin felt after using this mask. I almost didn't want to put lotion on because my skin felt so good. I guess that's the snail mucin at work. It's such an odd sounding ingredient, but based on how it performs in this mask and other products I've tried, I definitely see the value in adding it to your skin care routine. You don't need a lot of product to coat your whole face nicely so I feel like the amount in the jar is a good value. My only complaint about the product is that the ingredients aren't written on the jar itself. If you want to hang onto that information you'll need to keep the box the jar comes in. I much prefer full product information on the actual product. Who needs a bunch of boxes cluttering their space? If they would kindly fix their label to include all the ingredients and directions then I would give this mask 5 stars. The product itself is really good, I just don't like to have to hunt for information on what's in the jar and how to use it.

This stuff is great! Applies nicely and my skin looks nice and plump afterwards. A little goes a long way!

I have been hearing about the benefits of snail mucin so I thought I would try this. The cream was not slimy. Rather, it was creamy with a degree of grit to it. It was easy to apply and I kept it on about 8 minutes before rinsing it off. Upon rinsing, my skin felt dry and tight. This is not unlike how it felt with other turmeric products I have tried. I immediately followed with moisturizer, which resolved the issue. The drying nature of this product is such that I would probably not use it again.
