Whew! This thing is very bright! Love the different settings. Be careful with it, when I'm pointing it the brightness bothers my eyes!!

Delivered in a timely fashion. Pointer works as intended. Made of a quality Material….just not a fan of the Plastic push button protector. I believe it will very soon break or fall off the device and be forever lost. I do agree that the button Protector is a must have, especially as I will carry the pointer in a backpack along with personal gear that may very easily, inadvertently turn on the pointer and run the battery (s) down.

Incredibly strong laser pointer. i live in the AZ desert and in broad daylight I can light up trees hundreds of yards away. Actually, it's almost too bright. At night it goes way, way, way away. It think it would be great if you were lost hiking in the woods, to show your position, Army Ranger styel If you use it indoors it hurts your eyes. I took one star off for not being able to 'dial down' the intensity.

Im very suprised by the brightness and range of this laser pointer for such an inexpensive unit. For the price ya can't beat it. No idea how long it will last but its fun in the meantime!

Worked exactly as advertised. I was putting up canopy poles in my yard and placed this pointer on the top of the first pole and aimed it at the next pole I was putting in the ground so I could make sure all the poles were even. "Leveling" lasers were about 3 times the cost. Oh...and you can point with it too! :-)

I bought this to use as a laser pointer for presentations and to use as a cat toy. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for either.This claims to be a "laser pointer", which means it must have power under 0.39 mW. And indeed, on the label it says "Class I Laser Product" with "Max Output Power <0.39 mW". Unfortunately, this is totally false advertising.This is a very powerful laser, almost certainly a Class IIIb laser (which would mean it's at least 5 mW). That means it cannot be marketed as a laser pointer, and it can easily cause severe, permanent eye damage. I would estimate its power at no less than 10 mW, maybe even more than 20 mW. That's close to 100 times the legal limit for a laser pointer. If you point it at black plastic for more than a few seconds, the plastic will melt. No legal laser pointer can do that.While this device is very competitively priced for a high-power laser, it is totally unsuitable for presentations due to being uncomfortably bright. The seller needs to update the listing to remove any reference to "laser pointer", not claim it's useful for presentations, and properly label it as a Class IIIb laser with the correct output power.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The geese are overwhelming my yard. They are not affected by the ornaments that I have put out to keep them off my yard.I was told that a green laser would work....it does, no more geese in my yard.
