This is what you need to succeed as a PMO. Sipes against any challenges, innovator, creator, leader, and a project manager.
I received the book few days ago, and I can't describe to you how HAPPILY surprised, thankful, and feeling blessed when I start reading it. The reason for the happy feelings are because the book is Very professional, simple language that all clinicians can understand and not only project managers. It speaks about real life, the provided examples are similar to what you will face in real life. The author provides you with many tips and tools to help you success in your project, especially if your working on electronic health record (EHR) project. It is very obvious and clear that the author is very experienced with the real life project management challenges, the education and knowledge, and the necessary skills to share with you as a PMO.Well done, perfectly written, and most importantly; this is another evidence that nursing is not only at bedside. The author took the nursing career to a whole new level.Thank you, Professor Sipes.

Bought as a textbook for class, not a lot of useful info for the general nurse leader
This has a lot of broad topics of information but as a nurse leader, I did not find it helpful. I will not keep this as a useful reference.

Needed to pass course.
I bought this because my teacher required us to buy it, coincidentally she’s also the one who wrote it. The author also quotes herself and her ideas a lot. Overall the book is ok, and definitely required to pass the course. The ideas, tools, and themes mentioned in this book are not found in most other project management books, so it’s important to get this one if you want to know what the instructor is talking about...
