Harry Potter Minerva MCGONAGALL Doll

I really should have bought it earlier! I collect dolls and this one sparks so much JOY.

I’m obsessed with this doll. Where to start? She’s an Original size Barbie doll and she has XL-sized feet so she’ll be sharing shoes with Wonder Woman, *but* the shoes she comes with are really cute. Her robe is gorgeous and very well made. I love that she’s multi-jointed for greater pose-ability. You can put her hair down but it’s cut very specifically to be worn up, so it looks cute in the front but wonky in back when worn down. Most of all, I love that Ms. Minerva is a beautiful older doll (she even has age details on her hands) that can be used as a mother or grandmother doll in your own Barbie world. Love it.

Looks much like the character. The clothing is very nicely done...velvety fabric for the robe, rooted hair, and a very nice gift for a Harry Potter fan. Not too big, it fits on a shelf and can be displayed both in the box to keep it pristine, or out of the box, where one can adjust the hands and legs to let her sit on a shelf looking wise. Nice for kids of any age who like the series.

Daughter loves. Wants them all.Bought used. It say "product new, will come in original box, but different outer box". Which was accurate. When it arrived, the original package was opened, but there. (It looked like someone bought, took out, returned, repackaged with rubber bands. Since my daughter was not planning on leaving in box, this was not a issue. If you plan on leaving your collection unopened, I do not buy used.

the packaging, however, left a lot to be desired. it came in a plastic envelope. not a bubble wrapped one. just a plain. plastic. sheaf.so not surprisingly, the plastic around the doll was cracked in a couple spots and the card board backing was separating from the front. Luckily, the doll was undamaged. but it was a bit of a surprise that it wasn't given how poorly it was shipped. was really surprised that Amazon would send something in that badly done of a job, to be honest.

My Gdaughter loves Harry Potter and this is a great doll for her.
