Elecall 4"Float Switch Stainless Steel Tank Water Level Sensor 110V ES10010 Wire Length 12inch

I'm not sure what number of cycles this is intended for, but the reeds failed eventually. Probably in the range of 30k cycles over three weeks. Water level goes up and down about every five minutes. It's best to buy a product that has a specific power rating and lifespan, but this product was quite convenient to combine the two switches and had a great value. I ended up buying a superior product from the liquidlevel website.

Didn't switch on/off reliably. Tried it between 3-12 Volts and verified less than .5 Amps but still inconsistent switching. Will have to return and find a more reliable switch.

I used it for a small 12 volt bilge pump. It worked when I tested it after installation but the next day it was permanently stuck in the closed contact (on) position.

I installed these in an outdoor sump pit, three switches to control two pumps. They look pretty good except I do not like the fiber type outer jacket on the leads; it looks as though it might wick water past the seal and into the switch. I gave it a couple more coats of liquid electrical tape and hope it holds else the rating will fall to one star.

I used this float switch with a small 4 watt submersible water pump. The switch is made to handle 10 watts so i didnt need a relay. I made one of those 5 gallon bucket swamp coolers and needed a small switch to turn it off when the water got too low. So far so good. Works very well.

I used this with a solid state relay to control a utility pump as a sump pump. It worked very well although the travel distance is very small from on to off.

My need for this was urgent. It looks well built, as the picture suggests. But it does not work. Doesn't complete circuit no matter what position float is in. Even after I threw it against the wall, it still failed to perform as expected.

This lasted about 1 month in use before switch failed in closed position continuously. No movment in either direction of float would stop my alarm from sounding. Absolute cheap junk
