Handy pocket size, and contains all the equations students are expected to know for their revision. Also puts problems in exam-style language so the student needs to read and comprehend the problem before applying the equation in question. Also contains a section of more complex problems at the end, targeting higher grades. However, there are only three practice problems per equation in the main section of the book, so 'memorising' the equations by repeated practice is going to take more than just this book's content. You wouldn't expect a student to do three problems and have memorised both the equation applied, plus methods of rearranging it, and be 'exam ready'.

Bought on the back of positive reviews. I don't think that there is enough practice questions for students to really overlearn by repeated practice.

Kit's youtube videos inspire huge confidence; he knows Physics inside out and breaks it down for students to understand. As important, he knows the hacks and shortcuts needed to get a 7,8, 9 or whatever. The book is an excellent example of this. Buy the book, flick throug it, write out some index cards, flick thorugh them, repeat. If you know the equation you are 50% of the way to answering the question. 50% in 2018 AQA GCSE Physics is the grade boundary for a 7. Food for thought ?

Disappointed with this. I could have done better as a Physics teacher. Thought this would have been fun to use.

I'm a physics teacher and would really recommend this book to any GCSE student. Each equation is explained clearly, along with examples of using the equation with real world exam style problems of increasingly complexity. There is also a handy guide at the start which shows which exam board uses which equation.A must have for any student.

Incredible, helped me so much with not just memorising the equations but also applying them, so many useful tips which really helped boost my grade in the exam like the fact that PV = k is the same as P1V1 = P2V2 etc... Would highly recommend to buy !!!

Grabbed a copy of this after seeing it advertised on the Gorilla Physics channel on YouTube. Really great resource that I will be recommending to my students. Clear, simple and pocket sized. In this time of students having to learn a whole load of equations for the exams, this is one tool to help them out. Or a useful reminder for those teachers who still need them.

Great book with questions for all levels of students. Strongly recommend for GCSE students using any exam board. Contains every equation with questions for each and is great to fill up time which would previously have been wasted. Awesome quality.
