Panasonic Micro Four Thirds 14-42mm Zoom Lens (35mm Equivalent 28-84mm)

Good alround lens, not the fastest but coupled with the Panasonic Four Thirds cameras this keeps all the features...

Plastic and very unsmooth

Get good results in outdoors but not very good in indoors

This is the worst option for a Panasonic's standard zoom lens. I had one and I certainly wouldn't pay £200 for it. It's not actually bad, and better than several Canon kit zooms that I have owned, but the moot point is:- the alternatives are all better. The older Panasonic 14-45mm Lens - H-FS014045 is larger but much sharper. The 14-42mm Mark II H-FS1442AE-K, which I now own, is smaller, sharper, with better contrast, and has a smoother zoom action. As several have commented, this lens has a slightly "sticky" zoom. The little Panasonic H-FS1442AE-K Motor Lens is at least as sharp, much smaller, and great for video. Another great option is the tiny Panasonic 12-32 mm Lens. It's no surprise that this lens was the cheapest when bought "Used" (often just split from a camera kit) from sites such as mpb.com, parkcameras.com. and others, though, as an older kit lens, such good value supplies have since dried up. My two star rating reflects the current price and the better newer alternatives around £200.

This is the standard lens for the Lumix G2 camera which I bought recently as a photography student. I feel this is a good beginners lens but as you begin to learn the camera you will want better quality lenses. The lens is made of plastic not making it very smooth when zooming; it feels quite tacky. If you are simply looking to use this lens for photography, it is a good buy. If you use this camera for filming and movie making you will find the internal microphone picks up a lot of noise from the plastic zooming. Overall a good lens but not one I would buy separately. I recommend buying a lens with a metal body as it is smooth and has no noise, It adds a nice amount of weight too.

This is a great light weight lens with in built image stabalisation, easy to change on the camera and a very good all rounder.I tend to leave this on the camera for most of my shots as it's easy to hold and light to carry around. I use this lens on my Panasonic GF3 which I love. If you want the ultimate in image quality, be prepared to send 6 to 7 times as much. This lens is a easy to live with and great value lens.

Ma non aspettativi qualità eccellente. Lo stabilizzatore ottica non funziona con Blackmagic Pocket, se volete comprarla per questo. Ma io lo sapevo già, quindi nessun problema.

Ich habe das Objektiv als Ergänzung zu meiner Olympus OM-D Ausrüstung gekauft.Die Brennweite, die Größe und das Gewicht waren ausschlaggebend.Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen!Für 150 Euronen ein so tolles Objektiv hatte ich nicht erwartet!Federleicht, schneller AF, gute Abbildungsleistung, was will man mehr.Für eine 2.8er Lichtstärke hätte ich gerne 100 Euro mehr ausgegeben.Wieder eine Bestätigung mehr für meinen Umstieg von EOS auf Micro-Four Thirds.Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Zuerst muss Ich sagen : Ich habe das Produkt gebraucht für einen günstigen Preis gekauft. Zustand jedoch wie neu.Ich nutze dieses MFT Objektiv an der Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, da es eines der wenigen erschwinglichen MFT Objektiven ist, die einen eingebauten Bildstabilisator besitzen. Dieser funktioniert super und ermöglicht es mir somit zum ersten Mal, wirklich aus der Hand mit der Kamera zu filmen. Die Aufnahmen sind dann wirklich brauchbar, der Bildstabilisator macht seinen Job wie erwartet.Die Schärfe ist gut für den Preis und es gibt kaum Objektivverzerrungen. Der Zoom allerdings eignet sich kaum zum Zoomen während des Filmens, da sich der Ring nicht ohne Probleme gleichmäßig drehen lässt (vielleicht liegt das auch an meinem gebrauchten Produkt, aber ein Bekannter berichtet ähnliches bei seinem Neukauf Modell). Das führt zu sehr ruckartigen Zooms.Bei offener Blende (3.5) lässt sich mit dem Objektiv gerade noch so im Halbdunkeln Filmen (ISO 1600) , wirklich lichtstark ist es aber nicht. Dennoch lässt sich damit gut arbeiten. Tipp : Tagsüber mit ND Filter und Offener Blende filmen, da kann man mit dem Objektiv schon sehr hochwertige Aufnahmen erzielen.Der Autofokus funktioniert einigermaßen gut an der BMPCC, ich benutze dieses Feature aber eher selten.Zur Verarbeitung :Ziemlich leicht, Fokusring geht sehr gut. Zoom wie beschrieben etwas ungleichmäßig. Alles in allem gut für den Preis.

J'ai choisit cet objectif car c'est celui qui va avec mon appareil. Pour moi, c'est parfait, c'est ce qu'il me fallait.
