I bought this on flash sale so I didn't pay full price. Fairly easy to put together. Most annoying part was the plastic connectors are can be a fairly hard press to click in and the connecting baffles can pop out as your putting the sides together (which means taking it apart to fix it).No holes are visible on it, everything looks sealed, but small pieces fall out when you spin it to rotate the compost. Little annoyed over that part. We'll see how it goes from there.Otherwise it seems fairly sturdy base/frame wise.

This was a great buy, I also let my sister purchase one because I love it so much. I am now able to compose a lot of my kitchen scraps
