A solid upgrade
Upgraded from a i5 12400f and immediately saw the difference, for the price this is a very good cpu and actually compares to alot of higher end cpus from what i've read. It runs hot but i manage my temps just fine with a small dual fan cpu cooler with 2 92mm fans. From what i've read, anything after this should need liquid cooling but this one definitely doesn't.

Upgraded to this...
Swapping my 12600K for the Intel 14900K has been a game-changer. I’m definitely seeing more frames now, and the gameplay feels way smoother. The extra cores and higher clock speeds really make a difference, especially in games that push the CPU hard. It’s a bit hotter and drinks more power, but with good cooling, it’s no big deal. If you want better performance and higher FPS without fuss, the 14900K is solid. Totally happy with the upgrade!Cons- price and heatOfc its easy to install

Absolute beast but it gets hot
THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE 14900KFRuns every game perfectly the highest cpu activity I’ve seen is around 50-70% when running blackops 6 and warzone for example.max temps I’ve seen under benchmark is 90c and throttled so be sure you have a very good cooler a 240mm rad is definitely not enough to cool this beast. Only worth it if you're upgrading from 12 Gen Intel and even then I'd still look at AMD first.
Don't be me. Get an AMD CPU. Mine works fine. In fact I'm actually pretty blown away by how fast and powerful it is....But I still recommend it to almost nobody at least in current year.... it's overpriced there's no upgrade path from here and it runs unreasonably hot so you're also going to be spending more on a good cooler. Etc. There's also the issue of these things overheating and breaking which they say was fixed...and I've run into no issues...but I don't necessarily trust Intel.
