Great phone for the price!
The verdict is finally in!!I bought the BLU G84 a few months ago and I’ve been really impressed with it. The performance is smooth, it handles all my apps without slowing down, and the screen is big and clear. The battery easily lasts all day, and it charges up pretty fast. I also like the design – it looks and feels premium. The camera takes good photos in decent lighting, and the front camera is clear enough for video calls and selfies. The sound quality is also solid – loud and clear whether I'm on a call or playing music. For the price, this phone is a great deal. No regrets at all.

Blu g84 phone stopped working after 3 days. Factory defect
Bluy g83 Phone stopped functioning after 3 days . Screen showing this device is corrupt. Contacted the vendor and they told me to send the phone back. Problem is that the costs of sendinding this phone back from the Dominican republic costs US$85 due to customs regulations. This is more than half the purchase of the phone. I had a technician test the phone . He had the phone for 2 daqys and he came to the conlusion that that phone a a bad memory chip, a factory defect. Obviously i am not going to send the phone due to the costs. I used to be a frequent buyer of Blu phones. My wife still has a bold N2. This is all very disappointing. I am hoping for some action from Amazon

BLU Is the Gold Standard In Affordable Quality
I've been using BLU devices for the past 10 years, and while they've always been "decent," but it's clear that in the last 5 years they've really stepped up their game. The simple fact that you get all of the accessories that come with their devices (glass screen protector, protective case, and headphones in addition to the standard wall-adapter) sets them apart from most phone manufacturers which barely include more than the phone and charging cord. With BLU you're always fully set up with everything the device needs apart from a SIM card right out of the box.The last BLU device I had was the F91, BLU's first real high-quality, "Flagship" device, and I had that phone for nearly 3 years without ever needing to do more than replace the screen protector. It is worth mentioning that my F91 was still working and seeing heavy daily use when I decided to upgrade to the G83; the F91 was just starting to have battery life issues and behave a little strangely, so I decided to retire it. Side note, I've discovered that the screen sizes for both the F91 and G83 are identical, so the extra replacement screen protectors that I got for the F91 can be used on the G83. Five stars for cross-compatibility BLU!First impressions of the G83 are all very good. Screen is large, bright, and has crisp, clear image quality. Touch sensitivity is good, camera is impressive, and all of the basic features work well. BLU has apparently listened to the criticism that they received for their old phone cases, and bulked-up the ones that ship with their new devices. The included protective case for the G83 is very substantial, holds the device very securely, and is taller than the screen protector. For once, I don't feel like I'll need to purchase an aftermarket case for this device. Lastly, the phone looks REALLY good. People can usually tell when you've got a budget device, and these higher-end BLU's definitely look like they're more expensive than they are. I had people ask what kind of phone I had on several occasions with my F91, and I expect that to happen a lot more often with the G83.UPDATE:A couple of weeks into using the G83, and it's already displaying a bit of "personality." I've had several occasions where the screen "freezes;" the image or app currently being displayed will freeze, but any music or audio being played in the background will continue playing. The only way to correct this is to completely close out of the app, though I've also had it lock up the phone too the point where a hard reboot is the only solution. Another issue I've noticed is that the GPS is extremely laggy, with Google maps taking several minutes to register location and movement when initializing navigation. On a positive note, I've noticed a distinct improvement in voice-call quality from my old F91; I use Helium Mobile, and used to have nearly constant issues when making our receiving calls, and the G83 has so far had none of those problems.

It only works with T-Mobile sim cards
I like the phone, but the screen does not function properly. Sometimes it unlocks without using my pin. The finger print option does not work. It's storage and other things make an ok phone

It’s a solid choice for a new phone
It takes a while to charge for the first time. I paid attention to the instructions about the first few charging cycles. The phone is fantastic so far. The screen colors are stunningly vibrant and I’m not surprised because that’s why I chose this phone. All android phones come with a pesky app that randomly downloads new apps without your consent. Once you locate and disable it things are no longer so weird. The battery lasts a long time and recharges reasonably quickly. Updating apps used to take forever but now it happens fast. On my old phone I had to use a third party app to force stop unused apps in order to get any responsiveness. I still use that app but it’s no longer urgent. The memory size is phenomenal. The button doesn’t always recognize my fingerprint right away and can sometimes take quite a number of tries but I’ve never used such feature before so it’s not a big deal to me. I’m really glad I upgraded.

Wouldn't recommend at this time
Very disappointed, honestly. The WiFi works about 10 feet from a router, but not always. Sounds for notifications never worked. So much more. The worst part, I bought brand new and the box had been opened before me.I wouldn't recommend at this time
