Very disappointed.... really cute dress I got for my daughter's band concert. The music and words on her dress were all up side down. Would have been fine if she wasn't on stage with a bunch of musicians that could see that. The pic of the dress shows the music readable from the front not the wearer looking down the dress . My daughter loved the dress just disappointed.

My daughter selected this dress for her 8th grade dance. She loved it and I am happy if she’s happy! The quality is fine. It’s certainly not a high end dress, but for the price I think its a fun piece my daughter can enjoy while it fits. It’s a tad big on her, so I think she’ll get a few years out of it. The fabric is a little thin, so we added tulle slip. That gave the dress a bit of better drape and extra detail for her special occasion. I think this dress will be fun to dress up or down, or accessorize, too. So many possibilities!

The fit of this dress is very weird. I ordered a "small" for my daughter in the sleeveless music design so she could wear it to a piano recital. Unfortunately, the waist sits too low on her body, and the bodice is way too loose, the arm holes are huge on her and bulge out. She is a very naturally skinny girl, about 5'4 & 90 pounds, so the bodice may just be made for curvy girls, but that still doesn't explain the low waist. The fabric is super thin, she described it as feeling like wearing paper. I've seen the photos of other reviewers who are happy with this, but we aren't. I think it is probably better on curvy women.

I purchased a size 8 in the 'note' color. I wear a size medium, or 6/8. I'm 5'3" & 140lbs with most weight in my belly & hips. The dress fit me very well though the waist line might be a little low on my torso but the ribbon belt camouflaged it nicely. The length hit a few inches below my knees, I wore it without a petticoat. The fabric is nice and was only slightly see through, I wore it with a full slip underneath. I received many compliments on it.

My daughter is in band and chorus and wanted this dress for her performances. I took a gamble and ordered it. I was worried it wouldn't fit her since she is busty and most dresses we have found are too tight for her or not cut right. I used the size chart and got a size larger cause I can always take it in if needed. The dress had some room for her around the top and she liked that it wasn't constricting. I ordered a petticoat to make it poof out and she was very happy. It's a nice dress and I am very happy with it. You will need a slip because it is on the thin side if you are not using a petticoat.

The dress does not really look like the picture in real life, not as form fitting or with as full of a skirt (even with the petticoat we bought to go with it) The fabric is very thin and feels more like Halloween costume material than real dress fabric. That being said, my 15 yr old daughter who I bought it for, really loved it. She liked the fabric and said it felt light and flowy. She even like the way it looked without the petticoat. So all in all, if I can get her to wear it a few times for formal school events this year then it was well worth the price!!!

I am a piano instructor and planned to wear it for Halloween Recital. Good thing I had a plan B.The material quality is very law- like a bad umbrella and see through. The music pattern is upside down and the stitch at the back doesn’t match the music staves. As a musician I would love to wear it if only was is well made.Great idea but very poor performance. Thumbs down.

It looks and feels like a teens 4-H sewing project. The material pattern/design is what I expected and I like it, but it feels pretty cheap and is a bit thin. It fits a little funky, but I’m not in perfect shape so I don’t fault them for that. The zipper feels flimsy and got stuck the first time I tried it on. I’m going to wear it, because I’m a music teacher and really wanted a music themed dress, but I’m not sure if I’ll buy from this seller/maker again.

I like it but it was too small, will cost too much to return as its not from UK so may make it into a skirt instead. Material was not as expected its a bit thin but has a nice silky feel, it arrived alot quicker than it said which is a good thing. The sizes offered when you buy it are not on the size chart conversion which is why it does not fit.I am size 12 uk and the medium was too small at the back and there is no give in the material, a large will probably be ok for size 12.The material is a funky print,if you are big busted order atleast 2 sizes bigger.There is not as much flare in the dress as the picture shows so a petticoat would be needed if you want that rectro vintage look.A fair price with postage just wish it fitted me!

Fits perfectly. I received a lot of comments when I wore this at a performance. Very fun!
