Rubber Boot for MS-5 Collar

They should have come out with this years ago. My dogs grab each other by the collar and wreck the sensor on the collar now they don't mess with them.

The back of the sensor would break off due to the stress from zip tying them to the dogs' collars. This alleviates that problem by looping it to their collars and avoids the noise cause by the sensor jangling on their collar. Totally functional and durable. Love it!

In the past I had to take the provided collar & sew its small D ring system to my dog’s collars & the car collar. These rubber boots stretch to insert the remote & then the collars of your choice. Great idea!

Works as described. However be prepared to have some patience when installing this on a 1 inch collar. I your fingers will get tired as you try to carefully get it over the buckle. I installed two. It could definitely be easier and Im not looking forward to changing the batteries 😒 . What is nice is my dogs wont strangle themselves on the super thin cheap collar that comes with the door every time it gets hung up on their regular collar. So for that I 💯 recommend

So glad we had this option! The plastic clip on the device itself breaks easy! This is very nice you just have to slip their collar through the rubber band. Holds up well and waterproof!!

Not at all long lasting. I was already prepared not to get a collar that is wider than 3/4 inch. So the collar I chose fits well and I didn't even have to slip a buckle through this sleeve as the collar I got could be taken apart in order to just slip the strap itself through. So you would think I was golden, right. Well...here we are a couple weeks later and one of the thin rubber straps (there are 2) that the collar slips under is already torn. I'm lucky to have noticed it before the second one would tear up resulting in the loss of the MS 5 Transmitter. Something purchased in order to protect the MS 5 shouldn't result in loss of it! Btw this dog is not one that runs through rough terrain or does anything in particular that should result in this happening !!! So...beware ! I purchased 2 and ended up zip-tying them to their collars while I look for a better solution.

Was very excited for these because the ones that came with the sensor are awful. I specifically measured my dogs collars before purchasing to make sure they fit and they are very very tight around the 1 inch collar. It took a lot just to get them over the buckle and I’m dreading having to change the battery in the future.

If you use the MS-5 transmitter device on your pet's collar for the High Tech Pet Power Door, then you know what a pain it is to try to change the battery or to fit the device onto your pet's collar. Not only does this neoprene boot hold the transmitter, you are able to threat the larger buckle of the collar into the boot. All you have to do is loosen the collar in the boot, and there is room to pop in/out the MS-5 when you change the battery. It is a fantastic solution to replace the DIY rigged system it has taken to hold the MS-5 to the collars of our small pet.
