Liebert! Get it!
I have an old school Dell T710 and a linux machine on this product and had about 6 power blips in an hour and they all maintained continuity on the battery powered side. There is another side which isn't battery powered but have a surge protector. Plug all your stuff in accordingly if you are a domestic consumer with which ones need a constant power to either power it down gracefully, like a server, or just a surge protector and lose power, like a monitor, etc. Decide which of the two options you have. Get it!

so far expectations being met
It has been a few hours since I installed the UPS, if things change, I will update this review. The A/C to Battery and Battery to A/C tests worked flawlessly, that was with a workstation plugged in which kept running. The device is quiet. The UPS shutdown software is simple and effective. So far, the UPS is working really well with a 600W draw at peak times. I expect this device to perform as well as my old and trusty APC and CyberPower UPS's.Vertiv is an Enterprise provider and their process for setting up an account and getting the software shows that. Their support staff on the chat were quick and very helpful and professional, they got me registered and got me the software.

1500VA 900W FULL 8-10 minutes of Monster Gaming PC rig (Nvidia 650 Watt GPU) PLUS many features!
I use a Sony 65" TV monitor (150 watts), NVIDIA 3080 GPU PC (400 watts idle, more while gaming), Sony surround receiver (50 watts) and cable modem (15 watts) with the wattage estimated. So I am using 3/4 of the 900 watt rating. I get about 8-10 minutes with everything on during a power outage, your milage may vary. I love this! So many extra features like: 1. Outlet power stability 2. Outlet power wiring check (checks to make sure its wired correctly) 3. Brownout protection 4. Displays Minutes until battery is drained 5. Battery level 6. Power draw from the unit in watts (Max 900 watts so you cant use an electric heater, haha) 7. BEEP mute button (THANK YOU) 8. Cable modem protection (surge from the cable) 9. USB protection. 10. 10 outlets (5 for battery) 2 are separated for wider plugs... on and on it goes. I had a dinky 650VA on my rig, WORTHLESS, my PC alone would drain that in 30 seconds. I spent $40 more and got this one. Easy connection out of the box. Comes charged, some fan noise when on battery or when I am gaming, which is fine. Works perfect. This thing is super heavy, Haha (Definitely not lithium which reduces fire risk if you ask me.) Great price you will save about $50 over other brands so that is a bonus! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Yes I am an actual customer, no I didn't receive a free one to review, nor do i work for the company. I just like the product.

PSA5-500MT120 for Nokia ONT
Ziply Fiber no longer does external ONT's which is a shame as they provided an indoor UPS for such.Got this as a solution to that and because I wanted an LCD display to be able to gleam the status details of the unit. I let it sit without anything plugged in for 24 hours and then tested it with the ONT plugged in. Switched over to battery without a problem when unplugged from the outlet.Coming from CyberPower UPS's the information provided by the LCD display is pretty minimal but enough and the Nokia ONT only consumes <8.6 W so I should be fine with this provided no problems as others have mentioned.

Only supports proprietary monitoring software. Cannot be monitored by QNap NAS or NUT clients.
Leaving a low review to catch people's attention so they aren't smacked in the face like I was.TLDR: Does not work with open-source UPS monitoring tools like NUT, etc. Requires proprietary software by Liebert.I made the assumption that a UPS made by a company known for high-end power backup solutions, and that had a USB port, would be able to be managed by something other than proprietary software. I have been able to connect my previous APC and Cyberpower UPSs directly to my NAS (most critical system needing to identify power outages) and then use the NUT server there to communicate to the other systems in my home network (variety of Linux & windows servers) to shut down when power backup levels got low. This UPS is not detected by my NAS and appears to only be able to be monitored by it's own proprietary software. I failed to realize this until after my return window had closed (shame on me).Further research shows that many users have difficulty using any monitoring tools for this unit. To make matters worse, you have to create an account and enter personal info for the honor of downloading this software?!?! Liebert is now blacklisted for my use and recommendations.

Works as advertised.
Very easy to use, it has a battery/surge protection side and a surge protection only side. So you'll need to figure out what you want to backup in case of a power outage and what you're just protectioning for surge protection.I had a brief power outage and none of my devices that were plugged into this UPS battery side saw a fluctuation. I had enough time to gracefully turn off the devices connected to the UPS.

Solid UPS. Software could be better.
Purchased the Vertiv Liebert PSA5 UPS - 1500VA 900W. It does work great but I am not super happy. The Liebert doesn't have a "OFF" for the alarms in software. It does have a manual button for this. Same for a self test, must use a manual button on the unit. I have not found a self test in its software app. It does the job though. Recommend it as a solid UPS.*Reminder ALL power backup units will go bad over time. The batteries degrade over use and time. I usually get about five years of good use with lead batteries types.
