Review for: ‘Ferbor 6 in 1 Activity Cube Baby Toy - Educational Discover Center with Shape Sorter Bead Maze Animal Time Learning Clock Busy Learner Center for baby Toddlers’This little activity cube is a great 6-in-1 interactive toy for babies – it has a bead maze, a set of gears, a clock with moveable hands, a mirror, a shape sorter, and a musical keyboard/buttons. The music and sounds are a lot of fun – there are 6 buttons with a bird, duck, sheep, lion, frog or cat on them, and a lion that dances in time with the music. Press a button and it tells you what the animal is, then plays the sound it makes, e.g., “duck” followed by a quack, press the button again and the duck quacks its way through a little song. Each animal sings 2 different songs – the songs are all different. I discovered that if, say the dog is singing and you press a button for another animal, it will replace the dog and continue singing the dog’s song – so you can have them all singing it, one at a time. It has a volume control – quiet and loud. There is also a musical keyboard with 4 keys that light up when pressed, they also light up when the animals are singing. The musical side of the cube requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).The cube was inside-out when it arrived and it was quite difficult to open it up. I was a bit concerned about breaking it before I realised the 6 sides are not connected, they’re just slotted together – easiest to pull off the blue side first as you can get a grip of it. The 6 sides can be used separately, slotted together and laid flat on the floor, or built into a shape (examples shown on the box). This would be a great gift to give child.

I requested this item for a friend who minds children, some of whom have additional needs.Positives: Bright colours and the plastic isn’t brittle. A wide range of ways to build/use the cube so the child can play with one side only or multiple sides. A choice of sound level. Secure battery housing. Lots of dials, wheels, rings etc. to help develop fine motor skills. The top side is a shape sorter. The clock face has clearly defined times with the hands being very clearly differentiated. I like that the minute hand can be moved both clockwise and anti-clockwise but the hour hand is moved by the minute hand, not the child’s hand. All parts are securely screwed in place. No sharp edges and easy to join and detach the cube sides.Negatives: Needs 3 AAA batteries, which aren’t included.I really like this item, which is perfect for 10 months +. There are so many activities that will engage and entertain babies/toddlers. The cube feels very well made and sturdy and it’s well designed. I’d say it’s a little bit on the expensive side but definitely worth paying a bit more given its quality and versatility. It would make a lovely present and I definitely recommend it.

I got this for my 18-month old to play with and he very much enjoys it. It seems to be reasonably well made, it's certainly held up well in the face of his abusive treatment of it.Unfortunately, the bits that intermesh are a little loose. This means they are easy to put together, but it also means it falls apart very easily. Beyond that, the various moving parts all function as I would hope. As with all children's toys, the various buttons cause noises from Hades to issue forth, but he seems to enjoy them so...This activity cube is selling for £21.99 at the time of this review. I personally think that's a bit on the high side.

This cube is that toy for which I could hardly do a review without taking it out of my baby's hands. It is a toy that arouses a lot of interest, the faces of the cubes being so different, brightly colored and full of interesting activities. So the baby can explore looking in the mirror, matching geometric shapes, learning the time on the clock or playing with marbles on some routes. One of the sides works with two batteries and helps the little ones learn four colors and in turn the sounds produced by animals or birds. In a word, many sensory elements in motion that develop the practical and tactile sense of the child. It is that kind of toy that saves us space and even money, being so comprehensive in activities. For storage, we prefer to collapse the cube, placing the sides on top of each other, reassembling takes only a few seconds. It's worth every penny, extraordinary quality-price ratio!

Very pleased with this. It comes really nicely boxed, so I was happy to hand it to a niece for her son, and the toy itself is really solidly built, with a lot of play options.It’s a great little busy toy, not too big for little hands, and easy to transport. It can also be disassembled and reassembled in various ways, or just separated off to be played with one side at a time, if space is short (pushchair).One side does require batteries ( 2x AAA), in order to make the piano play little notes, or to press the buttons above, to get animal noises. But thankfully you can turn the volume down—a must if you’re handing this over as a gift! ;PThe plastic is bright and colourful, and all the edges seem to be rounded, with loads of sliders and sorters and mirrors. The sorting shapes can be stored inside the cube, if you’re intending to keep it cube-shaped, and I’m impressed by the amount of different shapes you can generate by simply unclicking and reassembling.In all I’d say this is a great toy to keep little ones engaged and (relatively) quiet for a good while. A great gift, too.

It can be disassembled and reassembled in various ways. The bright, colorful plastic is safe with rounded edges. One side requires 2x AAA batteries for sounds, with a volume control. It keeps kids engaged and entertained, making it an excellent gift. Highly recommended!
