Simple to use and gives great coffee but some design flaws
Bought this to replace a de Longhi machine which had failed after about 8 years. This Beko model outperforms the de Longhi machine by being faster, less expensive and adjustable in terms of the amount of water passed through the filter basket. The delivered coffee is as good as any I have tasted from other machines (or cafes). I like the way in which it primes the coffee in the basket with a small amount of hot water before moving on to the full flow. However, it has a couple of design flaws:1) the machine is light in weight and you need to hold it steady while inserting and fixing the filter basket holder. I find that it is too easy to accidentally touch one of the start buttons (for single or double dose) while doing this and thus have to rush to get my (pre-heated) cup under the outlet.2) the basket holder has a hinged flap of plastic the purpose of which I have not identified. It can get in the way of the basket holder when inserting it in the machine.Despite these two reservations I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars on the basis of quality of coffee and value for money.

A fantastic middle ground where you won't fall out of the habit of making coffee
A great middle ground between a full coffee machine that grinds the beans and froths the milk and a machine that has a steam wand. This coffee machine will enable those who are slightly lazy and avoid making coffee because they have to steam the milk. This froths the milk for you and to a good standard too.Honestly, for the price and ease of use. Very lovely to use.I still do the rinse of hot water before attaching the coffee and I put filtered water in the back and in the milk frother after use to rinse the system through after - very important.

Budget best buy.
For the budget price this is the best grind your own coffee machine I have used. Unlike DeLonghi models (I have had a few) which drip like crazy and blow their seals regularly after about a year, this is no trouble at all. It has a limited range of functions, but when you get to know them, you still have flexibility. The pressure is good enough. The milk frother works well. And it is all very quick - ready to go in less than 10 seconds after turning on. As I say, no dripping, and primary espresso function does not seize up. Also, much easier than some to descale. It tells you when to do this. And it's smaller than most - fits into limited kitchen space. Not much bigger than a Nespresso.

Don't waste your money.
I was very disappointed with this coffee machine, considering that my Beko washer lasted 20 years. On the second use, the machine sprayed boiling hot coffee and grounds all over the kitchen and me.Needless to say it was returned.Beko may be good at whitegoods but small electrical items not so!

Good buy for a budget coffee maker.
It works as described but on the the 3rd day of usage, the milk container attachment loosens already as I need to assist &push it in order to make the frother work.

Great Coffee maker.
I love this coffee maker! For our regular coffee I put milk & sugar in the cups, warm in the microwave, then put cup under machine and select Double Espresso. For Cappuccino I fill the cups with hot water and leave to stand while I get the machine ready. Next I empty the cup, add sugar and place under the machine and select Cappuccino. It fills my cup with delicious Cappuccino and I sprinkle a little drinking chocolate power on top.If you warm the cups up with hot water first then Cappuccino and Latte are perfectly hot enough. When removing the milk container for cleaning I recommend holding a dish cloth under the spout to catch the drips.Rinse milk container, fill with water and refit to machine, put a mug under the machine, and press the milk jug button to flush out any milk residue. I flush it twice to make sure.I would recommend this coffee maker.

Good machine
A lovely machine as other reviews have said the drinks go cold quickly so I have warmed the cup first and it works brilliantly. Easy to clean after use.
