Hooked it up to a 18 gallon Rubbermaid container to keep my chickens all six water during the hotter temperatures. Chickens have Tennessee to pop the red cup off but it squeezes right back on. Everything worked perfect.

I love these for my quails but the cups fill to the rim and get very dirty quickly. I will be switching some with the other type of cups that stay dry. I keep my birds in cages so I need it to stay clean. These would be best for aviaries since water can spill and birds will stand and splash in them. I’ll say it’s nice having not to refill bird waterers everyday.

This is a very good design and easy to put together. Little bit of handyman work is required but my chickens finally have a clean place to drink

I would give this zero stars if I could. When the kit comes. It seems really nice. After you start putting it together you will learn that the threads are loose unless you use a lot of tape. I got it to work for about a week and a half to two weeks, then it started leaking. I had young chicks. They would stand on it. I feel that led to the downfall of it. It leaked so bad I had water everywhere due to the bucket emptying out. I would not suggest this kit at all. Save your money and buy a better kit or make your own.

Product seemed ok until I started to set up the water cups and one of them is missing the piece inside to stop the water flow. But other than that it’s ok. Kind of hard to return when other parts are glued together.

I installed this onto a 5 gallon bucket. And it lasts my chickens(6) a full 2weeks before I have to refill it. It’s made the daily routine so much easier because I don’t have to spend as much time watering. It’s worth the time and effort i put into setting it up.

The media could not be loaded. We have LOVED this set up!! We connected it to an automatic timer on our water spout and it has made the whole system automated. Now we don’t have to worry about our chickies getting water. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to make your life a little easier!
