Nice coil set for demonstration of electrical fundamentals
This is a nice little set of coils that -- in combination with a galvanometer -- can be used to demonstrate current generation with a moving magnetic field; electrical induction; and transformer effect. There are two coils, one which fits inside the other, and is removable. There is also a removable soft iron core, nickel-plated. Exactly what I was looking for to do electricity and magnetism experiments with my nieces and nephew.First set arrived missing a couple of nuts needed to fasten down the wires, but I returneded it and the seller rapidly replaced with a complete unit.
