Bigger than described
First the good: The knife came packaged very securely and safely. Came with instructions for how to properly handle and care. It IS actual Damascus. I’ve bought other blades that fake-etch the Damascus pattern. Blade is straight, sharp, and the saw-back is great. The leather sheath is sturdy.Now the bad: I would have liked a choice of sheath colors. It’s nothing a little dye won’t fix. The guard digs into my index finger a little. The size is my biggest issue. It’s advertised as 5” blade, 9” overall. It’s closer to a7.5” blade and 5.5” handle. This thing is pretty big. That’s the only reason I took off a star.
