This X3D processor only has one CCD which means it will just work out of the box, you don't need to install additional features via chipset drivers.Performance in games was improved. I'd say I got about a 30 to 50 % boost in frame rates on my Radeon 6800 XT over my old 3700X CPU.My wife's PC had my old 2700X with an Intel B580. The 5700X3D was a huge upgrade on her PC & massively increased performance. It has literally doubled frame rates, so massive success.Great processor & great price at the time of purchase. I bought these several months ago & stability & temperature are great. These will stretch out AM4 for a good while longer so not a lot of cost for fair boost in performance.

Generally really good for high quality and performance gaming, runs everything beautifully at 1080p pushing games like the last of us part 2 remastered at 100-120fps matched with a decent gpu at high settings. Highly recommend for a great cpu that dosent differ much from the 5800x3d apart from being significantly cheaper

Runs well, gained about 10-12% over my 5500, at first I was a bit worried it didn't justify the expense...That said it doesn't go over 62deg with my BeQuiet! Cooler on even under high demand and paired with my 7800xt I'm running most things on high or epic settings at 150fps (Starfield, Cyberpunk, ACC, Stalker etc) so I'm personally pretty happy, once I sold my 5500 (still a capable CPU) I think it was money well spent.I have not personally used any video editing or CAD on it though so can't speak for its performance in these area's.

Extremely good AM4 upgrade. Has more or less doubled my FPS in CS2 and any CPU bottlenecking has been more or less erased after upgrading from the 3700X. Now the 5800X3D has (reportedly) been discontinued, this is now the best AM4 choice for pure gaming.

Upgraded to the 5700x3D from a 5600 processor, the improvement in performance is noticable both while gaming and multitasking. I have paired with a Nvidia 4070 Super GPU and find it a well balanced combination able to keep up with the GPU where the 5600 was starting to struggle. If you are on an AM4 platform and looking for a good price to performance upgrade without needing to upgrade other components this is a great solution. I was initially looking for the now hard to find and expensive 5800x3d but settled on this processor as an alternative for a much more reasonable price and have not regretted it.

Fitted a treat, worked straight away.Made a big difference to my computer, certainly for Iracing.

Healthy increase in general speed over my Ryzen 5 5600 , runs quite a bit warmer but decent air cooler counteracts this . Significant increase in games FPS in Cyberpunk up 70%. Cracking processor for the price

The best value upgrade cpu left in the am4 platform, if you are on am4 and arent sure if the cost of a full am5 upgrade is worth it then get this cpu, its a solid upgrade from anything except a 5800x3d (its around 10% slower than a 5800x3d) but much cheaper.
